How did Miss Minutes…

Loki Beginning Theory

After reading Loki Season 2 Head Writer Eric Martin's comments on how he wants the two Loki seasons to be two halves of the same story, I've been thinking about some of the creative decisions this show has made. Specifically: Why did the TVA even capture Loki in the opening of the first episode? We know from Endgame that Tony and Steve improvised and went back in time to steal the tesseract. They would never have had to do this unless Loki escaped with the Tesseract. So, the TVA didn't reset history by capturing him. They also mention that they've pruned more Lokis than anyone else because they are nexus beings. And our Loki, on realising the power of the TVA, decides he wants to overthrow the time keepers and take over the TVA. All of this makes me believe Loki is meant to rule the TVA. It explains why the TVA would keep hunting other Lokis so that our Loki is the only one who remains at the end of time. This would also complete Loki's story arc, where he has

Loki Season 2

Hey guys, I just started watching Loki season 2, and I realized that there are a lot of things I must have missed in S1. things like Renslayer doing something on her own, Hunter B-10 rebelling, miss minutes helping Renslayer, and other random stuff going on on screen. Can someone please catch me up to everything I need to know for loki S2?? submitted by /u/Capital_Situation235 [link] [comments]

We are about to meet Prime Kang & What is the time loom anyways

Okay, theory time. What do we know? We know that after HWR dies, the sacred timeline is branching, and the branches are regrowing even after they are pruned. We know there is a timeloom in bottom of the TVA. OB Saids it makes raw time into physical time. Victor Timely saids the timeloom is a machine that creates power using time. We physically see the loom, with erractic threads on one end.. and tamed threads on the other. We know the timeloom, when its not working, the lights flicker and stuff starts falling apart in the TVA. So we can assume, the Timeloom, is the power source for the TVA. Its not, what prunes timelines, thats what TVA agents used to do. The timeloom needs the throughput multiplier to help it increase the size of its rings so it can contain keep working even with the new branches. This is a device designed by victor timely, he saids its a culmination of his life's work. Loki's can do magic in the TVA after they shut down Ms. minutes and rebooted the TVA

Cocoa and Con Men: Kang Just Won (theory)

Kang is not a genius. Kang is human. Kang lies. Kang is not a genius. This is part of what makes him so dangerous. He’s petty, a narcissist and a con man. He wants to be viewed as a genius, but I don’t think he’s invented ANYTHING in his life. Consider the inventions of Victor Timely, every one of them fails, and every one of them is an off-kilter copy of someone else’s invention. Kang is a nobody from the 31st century that scooped up a bunch of existing technology to pretend to be a genius. Kang is human. He Who Remains wanted to look omnipotent at the end of time. Using his ability to rewind things, he was able to figure out the path he wanted Loki and Sylvie to take. But that was just memorization of a short little scene. A simple con to make him look more powerful than he is. Kang lies. We’ve seen it with Victor Timely and Kang the Conqueror. There’s absolutely no reason to trust what He Who Remains to be the truth, and I think the biggest lie is this: Kang has not yet w

The “Infinity War Ending Trope” Can Still Be Effective!

Ever since Infinity War ended and shocked the world by not only not giving us a happy ending but killing half of the main characters, other shows and movies have tried to duplicate that effect, including the MCU itself. Killing off the main character, or ending on a major cliffhanger where many are presumed dead, is now somewhat common - James Bond, Fast and Furious, Ahsoka, and in the MCU itself Moon Knight, MoM and now Loki S2 E4. But at least in Loki, it really worked for me. It was a huge shock when Timely got spaghettied as soon as he opened the door. I couldn’t believe it had happened and then came the scene where everybody dies, which amped up the horror and had a fantastic staticky cutoff ending. Now I think we are definitely heading for either a time loop or a “world between worlds” mental prison/introspective journey episode, both of which I have seen one too many times, but I have faith Loki can pull it off. So I think the “good guys lose” situation is a trope by now,

A thought that would improve the MCU a lot

Yall know Spider Man 2 just released, and the story is genuinely amazing and it's told in around 15 hours. I think a problem the MCU has is that the stories they create don't get enough time to fully develop. It would never ever happen, but imagine the each movie, for example No Way Home, was a TV series as opposed to a movie. And I don't mean whatever the MCU is currently doing with shows, I mean a genuinely good show that's the same quality as the movie bur just longer so it can fit more ideas and concepts to really flesh it out. There's so many missed opportunities missed in the movies because they're limited to a 2 hour runtime. Imagine it - a full 10 episode show version of No Way Home, no filler. There could be episodes where MCU Peter actually goes to the other 2 universes as well. Fully realised arcs for all 3 spidermen and all the villains. They could fit so many good ideas. But that's just one example - imagine any movie as a fully fleshed out,

Do you think Dr.doom will be relevant in secret wars?

I mean, Doctor Doom was a very important character in the first secret war in the comics, and basically the central part of the 2015 one. And with all the problems with Jonathan Majors and how Kang didn't seem to connect that much with the general audiences, i think it would be kinda a smart move introducing Dr.Doom in the fantastic four, maybe having him in a post-credits scene and bulding him up until he rebuilds the entire multiverse and becomes the god of everything after (probably) absorving the energy of a supposed beyonder-like Kang. I dunno, for me it's a perfect idea also considering that the majority wouldn't expect it, and can lead to a good cliffhanger. submitted by /u/RathinaAtor [link] [comments]

Date suggestions for the Official Timeline

I just bought the Official Timeline (digitally, it’s like less than half the price of the physical copy + you get it instantly!) One thing that made me sad: they generally use vague times of year rather than specific dates. Like the ending of Iron Man happens “Spring 2008,” for example. So if they were to date things more specifically here are my suggestions! April 14 or May 2, 2008: Tony Stark’s “I am Iron Man” press conference [4-14 was the world premiere of Iron Man, May 2 was the release date] July 19, 2011: Captain America found frozen [CA:TFA world premiere date] July 22, 2011: Cap wakes up in NYC [CA:TFA release date] April 11 or May 4, 2012: Battle of New York [4-11 world premiere, 5-4 release date] April 12 or May 6, 2016: The Battle at Leipzig-Halle Airport + Iron Man v Captain America [4-13 world premiere, 5-6 release date] April 23 or 27, 2018: Battle in Wakanda + Thanos’ snap [4-23 world premiere, 4-27 release date] I lean more toward using the worl

What do you think will create battle world?

In the 2015 multiversal secret wars it was created by dr doom using the powers of the molecule man and the beyonders to merge the remaining universes. And the original was created by the beyonder I’d imagine they go with the 2015 one for all the cameo potential. It’ll take some grand cosmic power to merge universes together and we haven’t really seen much like that outside the what if infinity stones. I can’t imagine we see beyonders in this either. Just some TVA tech seems weird and the common theory of battle world just being the void also seem eh. I’d like to see a battle world cooler than that. submitted by /u/MathematicianKey2449 [link] [comments]

Is Loki eventually going to go back to 2012 or is Loki completely free?

After learning his eventual fate, aka having his neck snapped by Thanos, you’d probably never want to go back to that timeline… but is it Loki’s fate to eventually go back by the end of the show (whenever that may be) or is this Loki free to be independent with the tva. submitted by /u/JordzRed134 [link] [comments]

616 Kang

Spoilers of Loki season 2 third episode I don't know if I'm saying something obvious but Loki revealing Victor Timely as 616 Kang, and the way he is portrayed as a sort of goofy scammer, could be setting up Victor Timely to become Mister Gryphon after he learns how to timetravel. Also it would be a good choice to explore what makes he become less goofy and more evil for IronHeart and maybe Armor Wars submitted by /u/actuallyMattia00 [link] [comments]

Do you want a hard reset for when X-men are properly introduced?

I was against it for a while but now I really think it would be the best approach. Most of the classic hardcore avengers mainstays have been used and are gone or are about to be or where never really allowed to be part of the team properly. I’d honestly love that with a new live action team of X-men, we get an already established team of avengers. Age of Ultron and kind of endgame where really the only movies to have that established team dynamic. submitted by /u/MathematicianKey2449 [link] [comments]

A showerthought about Loki's magic throughout MCU

I think his mental state greatly influences his powers, and that could retrospectively nicely explain his lack of magic until his own show because think about it: Loki in Thor - Avengers 3 lived with the god complex which was due to his own insecurities, he felt unloved, had anger issues, was coping hard and suppressing his true emotions. A normal person with bad state of mind and anti-depressants will be less productive than a confident and healthy one. They cannot focus as much, might be weaker physically, might be even avoiding some actions due to fear of failing at them. Loki wasn't using his abilities as much until Season 1 of his own show where he had "proper" therapy with Mobius and finally opened himself to confront his vulnerable state. He became open to the world about himself and through Sylvie finally found a way to accept himself and forgive himself. He was taught self-love as much as care for others around him. Which healed him mentally and unlocked suppr

The MCU needs the Avengers to do more casual Avenging.

I know that currently the in the MCU....The Avengers are currently not active but...still. I hope that Cap 4 ends with Sam forming a new Avengers team. But finally to the topic at hand. Think the Lagos fight for example. The Avengers are casually taking on some terrorist that want to steel some experimental stuff...low stakes, characters bantering among each and etc (I know the scene is very important to the movie as a whole as it sparks the entire Accords conflict...but humor me for a sec)...It makes the MCU feel more alive and less static Imo. submitted by /u/NerdyDank [link] [comments]

Multiverse saga needs to follow Loki's Lead. Be weird. Go Full geeky time travel timey loopey.

I just finished watching Loki season 2 episode 3. Such a great combination of Action, acting, and setpieces and story telling. I loved that they went full weird with Ms. Minutes. This is what multiverse saga needs to be. Weird. We have seen action. We have seen space invasions. We have seen CGI wastelands, CGI future cities, super hero bashing one another. I never would have thought.. 1983 worlds fair would be one of my favorite sets so far. But I think the usual super hero fight scene ending isn't gonna do it for us. We need this to be prisoner of azkaban, doctor who... just levels of time travel geekiness and weirdness. Ofcourse, we still need SOME superhero fight scenes... preferably in a tiny hallway. But yeah, go full weird. Don't worry about us.. we'll decipher it in the comments. I also commend Loki, for the 40 minute episodes, written in episodical nature. I still wish there were more episodes, but this is the quality we are looking for. Making the a big fictional

I think I found a massive mistake in Loki and Endgame

I haven’t seen anything about this so far but I thought I should mention it to more people because I don’t know where I am tripping rn or if I am even tripping. But in Endgame when the Avengers are in New York trying to get the tesseract, Loki gets to steal it, while the other stones are still being taken from that timeline. Now when Loki stole the tesseract the gets tracked down by the TVA and behind him the timeline he was on gets eliminated because he wasn’t supposed to steal it. My question now is, when Loki made that timeline get eliminated where did Steve return the stones to at the end of Endgame. Because according to Loki that timeline did not exist anymore. Ps. Sorry for mistakes in my writing if I did make them, english is not my first language. submitted by /u/mellow2907 [link] [comments]

Kamala Khan (Ms. Marvel) Kate Bishop (Hawkeye) Riri Williams (Ironheart) ?Tommy (Speed)? The “?’s” are for whether or not Feige will get to Speed and Patriot before the Young Avengers actually assemble. Tommy WILL come back, but Marvel doesn’t seem to have any interest in pursuing anything Elijah Bradley related, unfortunately. When the TVA prunes a timeline -- the people and objects are sent to the end of time. So shouldn't that place be filled with people?

In Season 1 they show the pruning doesn't entirely kill a person or object. It simply sends them to the end of time. So shouldn't that place be filled with people? Also, when you prune a timeline how much of it gets sent to the end of time? Is is just that planet or the entire universe? [link] [comments]

I don’t want the Midnight Sons in the MCU

Hear me out. Being in the MCU carries a lot of baggage with it. The shows all have to integrate, appeal to a wide audience, and be morally in line with Disney. I want an extended universe for films that go a little harder. So far I would consider Logan and the Deadpool films part of this. The “R rated” properties. We could also fold Morbius, Moon Night, Werewolf by Night, The New Mutants, and the upcoming Blade into this group. I’m not saying that there couldn’t be cross-overs like pulling in Dr. Strange for a movie or story arc of a show, but it would free the group to do stuff outside of the MCU timeline. So for the lineup I would like to see: Man Thing, Elsa, Blade, and Jack obviously. Possibly Morbius and/or Black Night depending on the story. Let’s also throw AoS a bone and have Robbie Reyes played by Gabriel Luna. I thought he did a respectable job. It would also be great if Wolvesbane played by Maisie Williams made an appearance. Maybe she is being mentored by Jack. Not integ

What was thanos’ motive?

I'm curious how the strikes and Marvel's change of focus regarding TV show output has affected the phase 5 & 6 schedule we got last year. I mean, we're already almost halfway through their scheduled phase 5. Are we expecting some kind of announcement regarding the updated schedule? When would that be? Please help me to understand this!

The first season of Loki introduced the idea of the sacred timeline, which is supposed to be the only correct version of history. Any event that diverges from it is considered a danger and must be eliminated by the TVA. In season two, we noticed a small detail that labels these branches as 616.xxxxx, which implies that the sacred timeline is the 616 universe. But this raises the question: why did He Who Remains, who practically conquered the whole multiverse, choose this timeline? I don't think universes like 1610 or 838 are just variations of the sacred timeline. This makes me wonder if there are more sacred timelines, perhaps infinitely many. In quantumania, Kang showed two sacred timelines and explained the multiverse war by showing how diverged timeline from both clashed with each other. But in Loki, we only see one sacred timeline and it is 616. So my question is: is 616 the only sacred timeline and He Who Remains ignored the other infinite timelines, or are they also separat

How can the MCU solve the “high bar” conundrum?

1) Tony Stark’s & Steve Rogers’ leadership is irreplaceable. War Machine and Falcon as Cap won’t be able to fill these roles for the ‘New’ Avengers. It just wouldn’t be the same. It would only make fans miss Iron-Man and Cap more and more. 2) There’s no more S.H.I.E.L.D. Shield had some quite important roles in the first 2 Avengers movies, Iron-Man 2,& CA:WS. I’m not saying bring them back but I just don’t see anything right now that would help build up the New Avengers. 3) Another iconic character is the Black Widow. Also irreplaceable. Same could be said to Maria Hill, why do they have to kill her? Doesn’t make any sense. I’m not saying bring them all back, but if you’re going to make New Avengers, you need to build the team and there’s just nothing to start over with because all the new films and Disney+ flicks aren’t building up onto something new. Hawkeye was the only one that’s promising. I don’t think it will ever be the same because the Avengers have always been de

Why did Loki change so quickly from Avengers (2021) to the Loki series?

Obviously there’s a lot of speculation about whether or not HWR “forgot” to wipe O.B.’s memories, but I think his memories were intentionally left intact for one simple reason. The Time Keepers were robots. Robots that probably needed maintenance. And O.B. is the only repair guy in the TVA. Loki, take a walk.

On the previews to Loki Season 2, we see Loki walking outside of the TVA on the walkway, toward the Time Loom, wearing no protective “space suit,” only his regular TVA clothes. Not sure why Loki is out there (presumably saving time or whatnot) but I’m wondering if the same power/ability that allowed Loki to safely travel thru the schism/void at the end of Thor protects him from having his skin peeled, as OB described? Loki season 2 theory

Well, we know that Mobius and other employees at TVA had their memories erased. No matter how much one erases, some things remain in the subconscious. For example, Mobius has memories of a jet ski in his previous life, but he has forgotten it. although now he still loves jet skis. We know that something done in the past in TVA affects future TVA. My theory is that after Loki disappeared in the past, Mobius thinks about him a lot. Even if his memory is erased, maybe there is someone subconsciously waiting for his help. Maybe that's why he helps Loki in the first place. submitted by /u/Muted_Resolve_6251 [link] [comments]

For me I think It'd be cool in maybe a post credits scene for the 70s avengers to have their little "assemble" moment. EDIT: I also think it would be cool to have some of the spider verse characters in the movie too. submitted by /u/Due-Juggernaut1528 [link] [comments]

Multiverse Explanation

We need a new show that just dumps exposition and explanations for everything, because I feel like this is just a little too confusing. But I decided to try and take a stab at defining the rules, so please let me know if you see anything that is incorrect with my understanding: There was a multiversal war between Kang variants and He Who Remains. Each Kang from different universes were fighting for their own universe. Using Alioth, HWR managed to neuter the multiverse into the Sacred Timeline. As far as I understand it, the Sacred Timeline is a collection of similar timelines that the entire multiverse branches off from. However, they’ve been modified and monitored by HWR and the TVA to enforce a very strict start, middle and end for everything. After Sylvie killed HWR, the multiverse just boomed into existence. Every branch and possibility is another, different reality that all coexists. Since Kangs are all back, they’re probably currently fighting and causing Incursions like las

Christopher Nolan would be an ideal director for The Kang Dynasty -- hear me out

Let me preface this by saying I am not a Nolan fanboy by any measure. However, time has been the seed of almost ever single film he has worked on. He consistently plays around with perception of time and how/when information is presented to an audience and through what perspective. The Russos found gravitas in Thanos, and thank God for it because even Whedon said he wasn't quite sure where he was gonna go with the character. Right now, it feels a bit more like we are told Kang is menacing but it still feels a bit performative. I could see Nolan finding an interesting approach to a villain based in time -- if they could just give him the freedom to do what he wants and say "you define the destination and then we'll page the road to get there." Anyway, this is not a knock against Destin Daniel Cretton by any measure, I really dig his work. Just more commenting on the fact that I think if there were a Marvel movie that could court Nolan it might be this one. submi

Time doesnt seem to make any sense in Loki Season 2

How can Loki change the future in real time? Assuming that OB formed new memories as Loki interacted with his past self, then that suggests that the past didn’t exist in the first place Those new memories shouldnt have formed during OB’s conversation with Mobius. It shouldve formed as soon as Loki interacted with OB (same way all memories form), meaning OB wouldve retained those memories the whole time. If we see individual moments in time as individual coordinates along a timeline, then all interactions in the past exist prior to the moments in the future. Meaning, you couldnt actually change the past, as you’re interactions with the past would already exist on the timeline prior to your decision to go back in time. Time seems to be anchored to Loki rather than being its own independent thing Am I misunderstanding something? submitted by /u/Sad_Lettuce_5186 [link] [comments]

I love the new Loki season already so far to me they've done everything right from the start. But I must say-

Does anyone sometimes forget Loki is a god? I was halfway through the new episode and was thinking dang, This is a literal immortal god Imao they make him seem so human now (not in a bad way) His powers consist of astral projection, shape-shifting, hypnosis, molecular rearrangement, energy blasts, levitating, conjuration, cryokinesis, telekinesis and teleportation. But this show is so good that you don't even need to see him use all that Imao. They genuinely write the story and character that good. He's a literal god with many powers Imao probably the most powerful by default of everyone at the TVA. The guy can turn into a frost giant at any moment if he wanted I’m excited to see more of how this new season goes submitted by /u/SolitudeShaman [link] [comments]

Kang being beat by Ant-Man was necessary

I know people hate Quantumania for this exact reason, but hear me out okay. I feel like it was really important for Kang to be beat in Quantumania. It seems to me like that's going to play such a big role in his determination and storyline. Maybe I just have way too much faith in Feige and the writers but from a storytelling prospective, I would think that Kang having his ego busted by someone, especially someone without superpowers like Ant-Man will have a large impact. Have yall thought about it from this perspective? Do you think I'm just deluding myself or submitted by /u/cosmosphilosophist [link] [comments]

I tried to rewrite Ant Man 3

Image
First of all, I will choose Beetle as the main antagonist of the movie, Kang will only show up in the post credit or maybe in third act. So, the movie will start as the original as Scott narrating his life after Endgame. But then it will focus on Cassie's perspective of his dad. She used to believe he was a heroic person, but now she only sees a very popular guy who's always busy in signing autographs and making advertisements. As a result she will become a reluctant teenager, we see a little bit conflict between her and Scott. It's been 6 years of Hope being in charge of her father's company so there was a party(ofcourse Scott was there), but all of sudden a man with a Bettle suit will shows up and kills everyone except Scott, Wasp tries to fight back but hot severaly hurt. Scott was now blaming everything on himself for everything happened because he forgot to carry his suit with him. Now Scott is up researching everything to know about that guy, with the help of

Iron Man 3 Chinese edition

Image
I’m trying to make a completionist edit of the MCU. I know the scenes are inconsequential and silly, but I’ve been trying to find a copy of either the full movie or the deleted scenes from Iron Man 3’s Chinese release. The best I’ve been able to find is bad quality of two of the added scenes out of four. I’ve seen high quality screenshots of the added scenes so I know it exists somewhere. Does anyone know where I can actually watch the thing or find a copy of it? It’s like it got completely scrubbed. submitted by /u/Relative_Hat283 [link] [comments]

How The X-Men Will Most Likely Operate

Since the announcement of the first MCU X-Men film, people have been theorizing and spreading rumors about what the team roster is and how they will be incorporated into the MCU canon. ● The Consequences Of Incursions "Due to the multiversal Incursions and probably after the events of Secret Wars, The X-Men should be an established team and Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters should already be established as a safe haven for Mutants. They have been around for awhile, in the new continuity that the MCU will probably take on after the events of Secret Wars, the team itself has been around for awhile, adding on new members over the years like Wolverine and Storm, they eventually met the Avengers, maybe even helping them in the fight aganist Ultron or Thanos." ● What The Team Roster Should Look Like: "The team can expand in sequels and probably it will be bigger in the sequels or just big in the first film but it could be this roster and have Cyclops be the main cha

Wakanda Forever Original Plans TL Question

Looking for a king Loki fic.

I don't remember everything but Loki has the Tesseract and goes to Asgard. He appears during the elves invasion, Odin demands to know if he helped them invade, Loki joins in fighting off the elves, Odin and Thor die while Frigga lives, Loki is crowned on the spot for avenging Odin and Thor. If anyone know where to find this story let me know. Or if you know a good king Loki fic. submitted by /u/Darklord9876 [link] [comments]

Are we just going to pretend Wanda didn't give Westview a new life?

So, first if you need construction done call Wanda. Sure her construction and decoration process is chaotic, but her results are magical. Really though, can you imagine the tourist attraction that town would become! We see what happened with Thor, his hammer, and new Asgard. A tour bus driving around at regular intervals "On your right you will see the empty lot where Wanda created her home, her husband, and her children." "Up here on the left we have where some of the most unlucky residents. Too far away and not important to the narrative. Residents were often stuck doing the same task over and over and over and over and over and over and over for hours." All her "friends" from that week being mini celebrities. All I'm saying is if she wasn't crushed by her own throne room after trying to replace an innocent woman and murdering the heros who protected that world. Somebody would have to cut her a check. submitted by /u/DiscoveryDiscoveries

How many active super soldiers are there currently in the MCU?

So Steve is retired or on the moon and Isaiah Bradley is “dead”, that leaves Bucky, John Walker, Alexei Shostakov (Red Guardian), Red Skull (off on Vormir), and Emil Blonksy. Right? Am I leaving anyone out? Is Shuri basically a super soldier now? submitted by /u/koda5632 [link] [comments]

Satisfying character conclusions in the multiverse saga...

The infinity saga had 3 key character conclusions: Steve's, Tony's, and Natasha's. And they all were perfect. Their arcs have been covered many, many times so I'm not going to get into them. I'd like to explore what would be the satisfying conclusions for the current MCU characters. Of course not everyone will see their story conclude in this saga, but here are several big ones I could picture: Thor, Loki, Bruce Banner (Hulk), Doctor Strange, Scott Lang (Ant-Man), and Peter Quill (Starlord). Others to mention are: Bucky Barnes, Rocket, Hope Van Dyne, Nick Fury, Don Cheadle. (Oh and we're likely to see the conclusion of a bunch of legacy characters: Raimi Peter, Webb Peter, Logan, Fox X-Men, 2005 F4...) Here's my hope for some of them; let me know your ideas! Thor & Loki I put them together because I think their paths are destined to cross again. They will certainly reunite. But Thor won't make it out of the multiverse saga. That would be tru

For people with original marvel characters, how did you come up with their superpowers? (Question/Discussion, sorry if wrong flair!)

I'm trying to write my own MCU character for fun but I'm stuck at her powers because I don't want to make her Overpowered but I don't want to make her too weak as well, and I'm not sure how to come up with good ideas because I'd rather not just yank out another MCU character's superpower idea submitted by /u/YanChan_WithEyepatch [link] [comments]

TBH, Ant Man showing up at the ending of Eternals not only would've tied the movie better into the MCU, but also provide a brilliant solution to Celestians being born without the planet being destroyed.

Animated Fillers

I would really love to see more animated stuff as fillers or as adaptations of things that are out. For example there are a lot of prelude comics out to a bunch of the earlier movies. I would love to see those adapted to animation. I know some of them are comic versions of previous movies but the earlier ones added to the upcoming movies. I would also love to see just animated episodes of what was going on in between movies. For example, it’s been 2 years since the Shang-Chi movie. What has he been up to this whole time? I think an animated episode or two just keeping us up to speed with these characters would be awesome. They don’t have to be important to watch. Just filling in. I would love to see that with other characters from earlier on too. What was Tony and Steve up to. Some howling commandos stuff. What was Captain Marvel up to in between her movie and End Game. Etc. What do you guys think? submitted by /u/Vector1013 [link] [comments]

X-Men during the Blip?

Image
There’s been a lot of posts about ideas for the X-Men and all I could think about is the “why didn’t the Eternals help against Thanos” question. If they introduce Mutants they’ll have to deal with this question all over again. Unless… There weren’t any mutants pre-snap! Here’s my idea: there’s been some nefarious villain blocking the X gene world wide for decades, but that villain was blipped and during the blip people with the gene developed their powers. When the villain returns their powers are established and can’t be suppressed, but the half that disappeared still don’t have their powers. These mutants must track down the bad guy and stop him so that all mutants can have their birthright. But society isn’t sure they should. Maybe blocking the X-gene was a good thing all along? Why I like this idea? We already know the original x-men story. There’s been movies, cartoons, and comics. This way we could see what our beloved characters’ lives would have been like without their

Current spidey fan

So currently im starting to get into spider-man, heres the problem tho. Im trying to watch all of the spider man movies alone. Ive already watched all of sam rami's spiderman and halfway through TASM. Can yall reccomend me a list of movies to watch to understand it becuase i dont wanna watch a movie that doesnt really matter as a spidey fan, or better yet a summary of what happened before homecoming, far from home, and no way home Thx submitted by /u/iamnotamodtrustme [link] [comments]

With the news of Marvel Studios will begin to hear pitches for their “X-MEN” movie (Deadline), what type of script do you want for the movie?

Image
With Deadpool 3 (hopefully) releasing next year, it will be the celebration of 20th Century Fox, assuming many of their heroes returning. I’m not entirely sure what’s the main plot about, but hopefully they keep the news secure. With Hugh Jackman returning as Wolverine, it may be one of his few returns as he regretted leaving the character after the success of Deadpool. He took his chance and looks happy that he got to don the yellow spandex, hopefully creating iconic suits for the iconic characters. Anyways, what type of story/narrative are you looking for? With a large cinematic, Marvel Universe, it wouldn’t make sense to create an already established X-Men, where we don’t get to see the characters developing their arcs and powers. As for the characters’ ages, I would think it’s best for the main characters (students) around Spider-Man’s age group (even though Tom Holland is 27), such as Scott Summers and Jean Gray. Even though we saw Fox’s take on them, it wasn’t the best t
