A showerthought about Loki's magic throughout MCU

I think his mental state greatly influences his powers, and that could retrospectively nicely explain his lack of magic until his own show because think about it:

Loki in Thor - Avengers 3 lived with the god complex which was due to his own insecurities, he felt unloved, had anger issues, was coping hard and suppressing his true emotions. A normal person with bad state of mind and anti-depressants will be less productive than a confident and healthy one. They cannot focus as much, might be weaker physically, might be even avoiding some actions due to fear of failing at them.

Loki wasn't using his abilities as much until Season 1 of his own show where he had "proper" therapy with Mobius and finally opened himself to confront his vulnerable state. He became open to the world about himself and through Sylvie finally found a way to accept himself and forgive himself. He was taught self-love as much as care for others around him. Which healed him mentally and unlocked suppressed powers as he grew more confident in himself.

Spicy extra theory: He also didn't use his magic because deep inside he was ashamed of himself and didn't feel it is right to use something he was taught by the only person he held respect for - his mum Frigga
