Kang being beat by Ant-Man was necessary

I know people hate Quantumania for this exact reason, but hear me out okay. I feel like it was really important for Kang to be beat in Quantumania. It seems to me like that's going to play such a big role in his determination and storyline. Maybe I just have way too much faith in Feige and the writers but from a storytelling prospective, I would think that Kang having his ego busted by someone, especially someone without superpowers like Ant-Man will have a large impact. Have yall thought about it from this perspective? Do you think I'm just deluding myself or
