For people with original marvel characters, how did you come up with their superpowers? (Question/Discussion, sorry if wrong flair!)

I'm trying to write my own MCU character for fun but I'm stuck at her powers because I don't want to make her Overpowered but I don't want to make her too weak as well, and I'm not sure how to come up with good ideas because I'd rather not just yank out another MCU character's superpower idea

Bitter thoughts after Loki ending

Alright so I just finished Loki and I just…ugh idk. Yall im so sad I get that he gets his throne and he helps everyone. But I just wanted him to have friends and be happy. I know it’s unrealistic but I just wanted him to have friends and be happy. I think it sucks that he wont get that maybe that’s just me because sometimes I feel like Loki in the aspect of being looked down on.
