Just me who feels no excitement about phase 4?

I feel no excitement for phase 4. The big story arch connecting everything between 1-3 is over, and now there's just a bunch of heroes I've never heard of getting movies, other than Spiderman, Dr Strange and Thor. I watched Eternals and I felt almost nothing toward it. I hope it gets better, but right now I don't feel anywhere near as excited as I did when earlier movies came. submitted by /u/WhoAmIEven2 [link] [comments]

What would you think about Mike Flanagan directing an X-Men movie?

I think he would be a great choice because X-Men is a character driven comic series with loads of dialogue and monologues. At times, his film adaptation of Doctor Sleep felt like an X-Men movie, he's openly expressed a desire to direct a superhero movie and is a big MCU fan (Avengers: Endgame & Logan are among his favorite superhero movies). What do you think? submitted by /u/OrangeHat421 [link] [comments]

Doctor Strange is not (yet) The Sorcerer Supreme

I just did watched the latest Marvel Legends chapters and I just realized that Strange hasn't been named Sorcerer Supreme. When the first movie ends, Wong tells him he has yet much to learn in order to master the mystic arts. In Spiderman NWH we are told that he is not the Sorcerer Supreme because of the snap. Somehow Wong got there but we haven't seen how. I think MOM will be the movie on which we will se him become The Sorcerer Supreme. submitted by /u/mrdynabyte [link] [comments]

What are your predictions for the post-credit scenes of Moon Knight's finale? (Potential Moon Knight Spoilers)

Like all MCU films and shows, we are inevitably going to get a post credit scene as a little teaser to the future of the MCU. The common amount these days seems to be around 2 but sometimes we just get the 1. In the case of Moon Knight, what do you think we could be seeing as the teaser for the future? I have several possible theories: Jake Lockley's first appearance or official confirmation . I think this will either be the post credits scene or it'll be the final scene prior to the credit's rolling. Either way, I think we'll see that sarcophagus opening, but it may be that its left as a post credit reveal to tease Moon Knight S2. Gorr the God Butcher shows up to butcher the Ennead . With Thor: Love and Thunder on its way this summer, it wouldn't be so impossible for the main villain to make an early arrival, cementing his threat as a god killer by murdering some of, if not all of the gods introduced to us in this series. Ancient Egyptian flashback of a Phara

I hope they add Dr. Strange into the Marvel intro after MOM

He's like an essential part of the MCU now. The Avengers are pretty much dead at this point, and Strange is like the only big leader left and he's not even in the intro. Black Panther gets to be in the intro although both him and Strange have the same amount of movies. It's unfair. Give my boy Strange some love. submitted by /u/Dapper_Confection06 [link] [comments]

Theory about the psych hospital...

TL;DR, the psych ward is a memory/construct of the third alter. We know that Steven was created by Marc to dissociate from the trauma of his abusive mother and loss of his brother. We also know that Marc got kicked out of the military for "going AWOL in a fugue state". We also know this third alter to be particularly violent- he was the one that killed those people in Egypt. It seems likely that his third alter arose during his time in the military and got them kicked out after doing who knows what. He may also have been institutionalized during this time as the third alter. Taweret said people often use familiar places for their after life, but neither Marc nor Steven seems to recall ever being in a psych ward. If the third alter was in control the entire time, neither of them would remember it. That also kind of explains why the last episode seems to bounce back and forth between Marc/Steven retrieving memories and someone talking to Dr. Harrow. This may be a recreation

Oscar Isaac is one of the best actors of our generation.

First off, apologies for formatting. I watched Moon Knight last night as I do every week and the episode was absolutely phenomenal. I am legitimately sad that we only have one episode left and will probably recommend this show to anyone under the sun. However, something else happened to me while watching. Marc revisiting the trauma that essentially defined his character and his reasoning for creating Stephen was speaking to me. Watching that man have to essentially expose things in his head to someone else that isn’t meant to see them started to wear on me as I have my own childhood trauma that I essentially have no choice but to see over and over again as an adult. When Marc broke down at his mother’s shiva after deciding it was too much, I broke with him. I envied him in one aspect though: he had Stephen to escape when it became too much to handle. Now this isn’t me coming in here to essentially spill my trauma to many people on a platform that can be fickle for next to no reaso

Moon Knight Theory: Harrow is most certainly ********.

Be cautious, friends. There are more spoilers here than Fast and Furious Tokyo Drift. TLDR: Harrow is not the voice of Ammit but the deposed god of the underworld Anubis. A couple of weeks ago, I had written a post that insinuated that Harrow was the Egyptian god Anubis that had been kicked out of the underworld with Khonshu. Episode five provided more evidence to back this up. That post is here - Moon knight Theory . The weigher of hearts So right off the bat, Anubis is seen in this episode! When Mark and Steven are on the boat in the underworld, Tawerat places their hearts on a set of scales. The scales are adorned with a statue of the jackal-headed god Anubis. So right off the bat, Anubis is seen in this episode! See, the Egyptian god Anubis was the protector of the scales and weigher of hearts. And this ties in perfectly with Harrow; He is the weigher of souls in this series. He calls himself a follower of Ammit, but he may, in fact, be a deposed god trying to free Ammit

After ep.5, what do you think? why did he not do more?

I'm talking about the Marc's father. Idk why he didn't stop his mother for abusing him. Ik I'm sorry, like I'd assume that he would pull her back asap after he sees her abusing their son. But tbh, wouldn't it be better for Marc to send him somewhere else where he could be happy? And keep his wife alone somewhere seperate? They seemed pretty middle class. Baseless Theory about Norman Osborn entering the MCU

With Stark Tech's stock plummeting after the events in Spider-Man: Far From Home/No Way Home, bring in Norman Osborn, ruthless businessman, played by maybe Willem Dafoe but I'd prefer a multiversal recast with someone younger perhaps, (Mostly because I think Dafoe's Osborn is iconic and I don't think it should be stepped on by him playing a different version of the same character) Osborn buys the remains of Stark Enterprises and renames it Oscorp, changing the Avengers tower to Oscorp Tower. Not only does this establish Osborn being a douchebag, buying Tony's (a fan favourites company) and being like, screw Tony, it's Oscorp bay-bee, but it sets Oscorp up as something Spider-Man can investigate in an upcoming movie, as he's already met one evil Norman, so he'd want to keep an eye out for him in case he became the Green Goblin. Maybe Oscorp even develops the spider that would go onto bite Miles Morales. We could then potentially get a transition of Norm

How do you think Marvel will do the Sinister Six?

So Tom Holland is signed on to do more Spider-Man movies, and I'm assuming we're possibly gonna get our Sinister Six movie in the future. I've been hearing about Sony doing their version of the Sinister Six, and it's sounds and looks terrible from what I'm seeing. So makes me wonder how Marvel will do their version of the Sinister Six? They already have the KingPin since he appeared in Hawkeye, we have Scorpion still lying and waiting to be focused on in the next movie possibly, Vulture would be apart of the team if he wasn't in Sony's stupid universe, and maybe we'll see Mysterio again? Curious as to what others think about how Marvel will do the Sinister Six, this is a discussion I'm very interested in having. submitted by /u/Officer_Zack [link] [comments]

Like surely not gonna happen... Right? If I remember correctly, I saw Dr. Strange and America Chavez fall into an ocean, and all of the sudden the Pirates of the Caribbean theme started gradually playing, and the camera cuts to the Black Pearl sailing along. Then, when Dr. Strange and America Chavez fell into the animated world that we saw for a frame in the first trailer, I dreamt that it was the world of Cars, hence why we only saw a traffic cone in the first trailer. Moon Knight and Jewish erasure?

I wanna start this post by saying, I am Jewish, my Judaism is important to me, and I care about Jewish representation in media, but I’ve never really been of the opinion that Marvel Studios were participating in some sort of malicious Jewish erasure. Sure, Scarlett Witch and Peter Parker have both either been Jewish in the past, or been coded as Jewish, or had Jewish identities, but if you really look at the stories they’ve been a part of in the MCU, there hasn’t really been a lot of room for faith. Honestly we don’t get to see much of anyones regular non-superhero religious lives, and for all we know these versions of the characters ARE Jewish, and it’s just never come up. Or at least that’s been what I’ve told myself, because Moon Knight has really tested me. Moon Knight is such a meaningful character for me for so many reasons that I need not delve into here, but part of that, is that he is a cool, Jewish superhero, who’s faith isn’t played for some kind of laugh. It’s an integra

Actress/actor burn out.

First, let me preface by saying I don’t think my below thoughts apply to every actress or actor in the MCU. Nor do I think it is just something specific to the MCU as I feel like I see it in the Harry Potter Fantastic Beasts films and the DC movies. But… Does it seem like some of the actors are burned out or bored by these movies they star in? Whenever I see interviews they just seem like they’re going through the motions and not excited. Now I know press junkets are exhausting, repetitive, and impersonal. But I miss the excitement and camaraderie the Phase 1 actors had while talking about the films. I know Chris Hemsworth was tiring of Thor until Ragnarok gave him a new zest for it. But sometimes I wonder why some actors sign on if they don’t really enjoy it from the get go. Case in point: I don’t ever really get the impression Benedict Cumberbatch likes playing Dr. Strange. Whereas I think Tom Hiddleston is effing loves playing Loki. This is just an open discussion. I realize

I find it disingenuous to pretend that some of the hate level towards the Captain Marvel movie was not because she is a female

something I found interesting about an earlier post ( https://old.reddit.com/r/marvelstudios/comments/u8u9zw/my_opinion_as_a_female_mcu_fan_most_people_dont/ ) was that it came across to me as if /u/Gaajar_aka_Carrot was trying to say the dislike leveled towards the Captain Marvel movie was warranted because it was not a good movie. But I feel like OP is missing something crucial (at least imo). the Captain Marvel movie was OK. I would not say it was good, there were parts of the script that needed tweaking and/or tightening imo, and Brie Larson's portrayal of the Cap in certain scenes could definitely use some work. I don't know if it was an issue of Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck not knowing to direct Brie Larson in certain scenes or Brie Larson was still trying to get a feel for the character. Nevertheless, it's disingenuous to pretend imo that the movie did not have its flaws. I know there are also some folks who thought it was not progressive enough (I know someone who

[Spoilers] Dr Strange Multiverse of Madness Theory

We know for a fact the Illuminati are going to make an appearance, but they are from the multiverse. So what if in the post credits scene or something, Strange finds out that in the main MCU timeline Tony Stark created/was part of a secret organization called the Illuminati and Reed Richards, Charles Xavier and T'Challa were all members of that team? We know Tony knew about the Illuminati because in Iron Man 2 he had an 'Illuminati' app on his phone. This would also solve a couple questions like how Stark knew Wakanda had Vibranium or how he knew Spidey's identity. submitted by /u/califorever25 [link] [comments]

Jessica Jones?

I hate to dig up a dead horse, but I just sat through four and a half episodes of this thing knowing full well we'll get some kind of closure just for them to grab him back and pull off with a super hero and spec ops being their opponents. Even if the assailants were also specially trained, no way in hell that fight should've ended like that. None of them had super powers soo.. And Mr. Cop was fighting like he was in a street fight rather than 'Nam. And Jessica was fighting like she was fighting for the last hit whilst on the next to last hit. It's like, who wrote and choreographed this shit? I get that she doesn't want to kill people but, every other super hero/vigilante will never not fuck someone up and put them on their ass for a long enough to get the job done. I mean here and there they'll have the trope where a regular human tricks the super hero with some dumb ass shit to give the hero a weak point where they lose the trail or some shit. But they built

In regards to who Graham Greene could be playing in Echo

Reports suggest that actor Graham Greene will star in the Echo series and some are theorizing he'll be playing Chief , a family friend of Maya and her father in the comics. In the comics, Chief is a spiritual leader at his reservation and helps guide Maya towards redemption by reminding her of her father's history and the stories of their culture. He also helps further inspire Maya's interest in storytelling, as in the comics, Maya has an interest in the playwriting/performing. I think it'd be fun as not only could he have an interesting dynamic with Maya , but he could serve as a foil to Fisk . With Chief, he can serve as a mentor/uncle figure that genuinely helps to guide Maya down a better path, someone who helps her better understand what she wants to be as well as helps her reconnect with her family and heritage. It could be interesting if like the comics, he inspires Maya to spread her story to others, with him helping her to find a life outside of being a

[THEORY] Some Avengers will Show Up in Ms. Marvel for a Cameo

So as we all likely know by now, Kamala is attending Avengercon (look at Bruno's thing on his neck)! It's most likely going to be something similar to Avengers Day from the Avengers game. And of course in the game, the Avengers are there to meet their fans! We also have some Official Avengercon Merch from Hot Topic with Ant-Man , Hulk , Captain Marvel and Asgard logos. In the trailer , we can also see Kamala wearing a Wasp/Valkyrie/Captain Marvel T-Shirt. Thus, I think Hulk, Valkyrie, Ant-Man and the Wasp will be in Avengercon with Carol being supposed to show up too, which would be what made Kamala want to go so much, but eventually cancelling because she has other stuff to do, as per usual. I think these 5 along with Sam and Rhodey (who are probably busy with USAF missions most of the time) are probably the only remaining 'Avengers' on Earth (Wanda is secluded, Strange is not an Avenger, Thor is off-world). And it'd be really nice to explore their chem

My stupid conspiracy theory for Harrow's powers [Moon Knight Episode 4 spoilers]

I kind of like to overanalyze things but here I will attempt to prove that Harrow's powers are actually coming from Anubis. Evidence: Ammit is sealed in stone . We know that gods sealed in stone cannot grant their followers powers, because we have a prime example: Khonshu. After he was sealed in stone, he disappeared and so did Marc's ability to use the moon knight suit. Harrow summons jackals . Anubis is a jackal. Ammit is a crocodile. Point towards Anubis. Anubis holds the scales. Ammit eats the heart if it is impure . Harrow is the holder of the scales, and talks at length about how he plans to use the scales to judge people and they show him everything. One of Anubis' titles is "weigher of hearts". That sounds more like Harrow than anything Ammit related. All of the egyptian gods are real and Anubis is not accounted for Presumably he is out there, able to provide Harrow his powers. Weakest point but Anubis is the most famous of all the Egyptian gods an

What If Inhumans was still made?

So as we all know, Inhumans was a movie that was suppose to come out in 2018 with Phase 3, and star Vin Diesel as Black Bolt, and only happened because Ike Pearlmutter basically mandated it out of spite against the Fox X-Men, to the point where there were rumors that Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch would he Retconned into Inhumans, since the Inhumans were originally conceived as the stand-ins for the Mutants and X-Men. Thankfully, this was scrapped and Inhumans was not released, but sadly, it got turned into a crappy Mini-series instead, and I made a fake April fools review of it and passed it off as a review from an alternate reality where it did get made (which once I get the link to that, I will put it in here so you guys know what I'm talking about). But what If...the film was still made? What If instead of canceling it, despite Pearlmutter being booted off, The Inhumans Movie was still released in November of 2018 like originally planned? What would the film be like? How diffe

If Maria Rambeau Dies (Again)

Sincerely hoping the theories that Wanda k words the supposed Captain Marvel variant, Maria Rambeau, isn’t true. Not just because I honestly don’t see how Scarlett Witch could defeat a Captain Marvel variant completely (if you watched ‘What If…?’ you’d know it took a six infinity stone powered Ultron bot to defeat Carol Danvers, and even then he had to blow up a planet from its core while she was in it). I think another issue would be is that it would just be a huge disservice to the relationship that was just established between Monica and Wanda towards the end of Wandavision. Monica was Wanda‘s biggest ally, and they related to each other through their shared grief. Monica’s grief stemming from losing her mom. It would be odd if Wanda then immediately went to another universe after Wandavision and was the source of grief for another Monica. You could argue how would Wanda even know who that was, but at the end of the day the audience would know. (Also I doubt Strange is just gonn

I spotted something possibly pretty huge in the thor trailer

Near the beginning of the trailer, we see thor bury his axe stormbreaker. The armor he has is the same old normal grey armor we know and love. But near the end, we see thor in his newest armor. Still thor using the bifrost, seemingly satisfied, happy. I totally don't think thor is gonna lose his powers in the MCU, as a story standpoint, the fandom and what the trailer is showing. It wouldn't be smart. Thor has been unworthy, he's lost his entire family. Failed to save half of all life, depressed and drunk for 5 years. His redemption, becoming worthy in endgame. I think that alone solidifies him being worthy. Also on a fandom perspective, me personally I'm OK with Natalie Portman replacing Hemsworth. She's an incredible actress, but I know the mcu will get massive backlash. Either way, the mcu have already gotten rid of scarlet Johanson, Chris evans and RDJ. It would be way too big of a risk. Anyway I'm incredibly excited, taiki watiti knows how to write female

Just noticed that when Vision is “born” it looks like the first person he looks at is Wanda.

I’ve seen a few posts lately about how pym particles allow an object go small but retain their mass but very few mentions of the biggest violation of this rule in the mcu.

the ant man films are my favorite mcu entries!

I love ant man! the movies really got me into his comics and their just god damn hillariouse. ant man and the wasp has become my comfort movie. I love the low stakes feel where everything is literally smaller. and giant man is one of my favorite things in the mcu lol. the villains are a bit weak but I think the sequel improves and gives the villain more character than just "hank mean to me boo woo I make cool suit and kill him" and Scott and hope are my favorite mcu couple. I really cant wait for the third! also could bill murry be playing egg head? I feel like its just dumb and small enough to fit for him? submitted by /u/djornopimp1665 [link] [comments]

Not sure if this is common knowledge, but during the swinging scene in spiderman no way home, you can see a sign with Rogers: the musical on it, the same one seen in hawkeye

Do the Project Insight Helicarriers have Arc Reactors powering their propulsion?

Image
Was watching Captain America: The Winter Soldier. When it's time for the Insight Helicarriers to launch, the camera pans out over them, and when it shows an above view of Helicarrrier 02, this is what it looked like; https://preview.redd.it/p2r7oym7oxt81.png?width=1120&format=png&auto=webp&s=8fc5c6637409d8ee54b14f6b3e066cae985ecda0 https://preview.redd.it/ls74zk0goxt81.png?width=358&format=png&auto=webp&s=4c39c5fe013635dd7fed27fead466060675b9bf9 https://preview.redd.it/dvavtrxaoxt81.png?width=1116&format=png&auto=webp&s=9cabcf39f95d2429755d0081329a2f5a1128dd5d https://preview.redd.it/3kzor5v3oxt81.png?width=262&format=png&auto=webp&s=5c87c75d68ca6fd0419e39814e7b0ad6ae6b9d5b Then I went back to Iron Man 1, the scene where Stane was just blasted by the massive beam of energy from the Arc Reactor, and falls down into the building; https://preview.redd.it/z387weonoxt81.png?width=1017&format=png&auto=webp&s=8ee540d60

What do you want to see in Armor Wars?

Personally I want to see a few things: 1.) Stark suits that were never worn on film but were in storage as prototypes (basically comic Easter eggs) 2.) Crimson Dynamo 3.) Justin Hammer 4.) Punisher War Machine 5.) Sam and Bucky cameos 6.) Harley Keener returning from Iron Man 3 7.) Ties in to Iron Heart I’m not really sure what to expect from Armor Wars. I assume the confiscation of Stark tech from No away Home ties into the story and with Tony now gone there will be a tone of knock-off Iron Man suits like in the Armor Wars comic submitted by /u/ecb1912 [link] [comments]

Do you guys think that Sony and Marvel could give us Spider-Man 4 and The Amazing Spider-Man 3 with more Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield

love the films, what about the series? ....

I've been a massive fan of the mcu since it started with the first iron man. In fact recently I watched them all in order and as a complete work I don't think anything can compare. However... I've never watched any of the series set in the mcu cz only just got Disney plus. My first question is am I setting myself up for disappointment, because I've not heard the best about a few of them. Second question which series is the best one to start with? It's incredible how many series they can put out since endgame!! Where do I start submitted by /u/alexusdarkblade [link] [comments]

What do the Asgardians think about the existence of the Egyptian Gods and the Eternals on Earth?

Could these people be worthy of Mjolnir or the supersoldier serum?

The Egyptian goddess Ammit judges whether people are good by using her powers to look into the individual's past, present and future. Assuming her divine judgement is sound and error-free, anyone she judges as good would be effectively incapable of evil their entire life. Could the people Ammit judges as good be worthy of lifting Mjolnir? Could they be like Steve Rogers, and remain incorruptible by the supersoldier serum? submitted by /u/kimtaengsshi9 [link] [comments]

I’ve edited Phase’s 1-3 into a trilogy of super long movies. This is (part of) Phase 1, which is 14 hours. I don’t know why I did this.
