What would you think about Mike Flanagan directing an X-Men movie?

I think he would be a great choice because X-Men is a character driven comic series with loads of dialogue and monologues.

At times, his film adaptation of Doctor Sleep felt like an X-Men movie, he's openly expressed a desire to direct a superhero movie and is a big MCU fan (Avengers: Endgame & Logan are among his favorite superhero movies).

Bitter thoughts after Loki ending

Alright so I just finished Loki and I just…ugh idk. Yall im so sad I get that he gets his throne and he helps everyone. But I just wanted him to have friends and be happy. The first 2 avengers movies feel pretty different compared to a lot of the mcu

I was rewatching avengers 2012 and realized how different it feels to the rest of the mcu. It feels more comic booky and a little campy somehow? That's kind of what I really like about it though and really just find it interesting. Avengers age of ultron also has this more comic booky vibe to it. Any thoughts on this?
