We know that zeus is in the movie, and if he is his son could be in the movie too, but if you introduce zeus in the movie with a god butcher in a universe where until moonknight the only pantheon you had us care for or that even we knew of was the nordic one, and so to establish gorr as a real menace what better way to do that if not to make him kill the most recognizable god outside the one of judeo-christianity? and if they kill zeus this could set up a revenge path for hercules ,and thor, who suffered similar losses and learned how pointless revenge is in ifinity war and endgame, could help him fight those demons and the two could for a huge friendship beacouse of this
