Is Red Skull in end game the same Red Skull in Infinity War?

In Infinity War, the 2018 Red Skull is freed by Thanos after the latter sacrifices Gamora. In End game, a 2014 version of Red Skull is briefly freed when Black Widow sacrificing herself, but remains trapped when Cap returned the stone. Is the 2014 Red Skull the same Red Skull as the 2018 version that was free, or was this an alternate timeline where the End game Red Skull is another version that is trapped while the Red Skull in the main timeline is free to leave Vormir? Since Cap was supposed to return the stones when they were taken, does this create a new timeline in which Red Skull is stuck on Vormir until someone else comes for the stone while the Red Skull in the main timeline is free, or is the timeline in which Thanos leaves 2014 pruned which would lead to Red Skull's eventually release in 2018? submitted by /u/Jr9065 [link] [comments]

Ms Marvel contradicts with Endgame and Loki.

Ms Marvel which was set in 2025, shows Kamala travelling back in time in 1947, to save her grandmother Sana, and uniting her with her father Hasan (who is Kamala's great grandfather). This didn't create a new timeline, because Kamala already heard the stories of little Sana following a trail of stars. So the time travel shown in Ms Marvel doesn't deal with multiverse, but instead its a never ending loop. This means if the world or universe had ended anytime between 1947 and 2025, then Aisha shouldn't be able to call Kamala from the future, because everyone in the future is supposed to be dead. And if Aisha can't call Kamala from the future, that means Sana won't be able to reunite with Hasan. Hence, history would change completely. Muneeba (Kamala's mom) would never be born and neither would Kamala. Now in Endgame and then in Loki, we saw Avengers travelling back to 2012, and creating a branched timeline where Loki escapes. Later on TVA captures Loki and

Though, much of human myth is based on our involvement on Earth in Arishem’s name.” THOR: “Like me!” SERSI: “… no.” SHE-HULK: (staring at nothing) “Is it always this confusing?” MOON KNIGHT: “You talkin to y’self too, mate?” SHE-HULK: “Um, no, to the audien—never mind. What is that accent??” MOON KNIGHT: “The gods are real you know.” THOR/SERSI: “We know.” MOON KNIGHT: “No, I mean, really real.” THOR/SERSI: “ We know! ” SHANG-CHI: “Are they really, though—“ MS. Important question about MCU Spider-Man

Okay so this has been bothering me for a few days now. In Captain America: Civil War, Peter tells Tony that "When you can do the things I can, and then the bad things happen, they happen because of you" What exactly did he mean by that? Was it about Uncle Ben? Because in Spider-Man: Homecoming, Peter tells Ned that he can't tell May that he's Spider-Man "May can not know, I can not do that to her right now, with everything that has happened to her" What happened to her? Is it about Uncle Ben? I really need someone to clear this up! submitted by /u/bubblegumbubblesbaby [link] [comments]

How TVA could solve a certain plot hole in Deadpool 3 (Spoiler)

It's all confirmed that Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool will be coming to MCU, started with Deadpool 3. But Hugh Jackman's Wolverine won't be only one to appear in the film, TVA are rumored to appear as well with Owen Wilson's Mobius and Miss Minutes are teased to appear. So if they do ultimately appear, my theory is Deadpool's time travel action in the post credits scene will bring TVA's attention but that's not it. TVA will explains about Fox X-Men's continuity and why they are a mess since Fox X-Men's movie are infamous for their messy timeline and hopefully would address that in Deadpool 3. Do you guys agree or disagree if TVA would explains why Fox X-Men's messy timeline despite their job is to protect the timeline? submitted by /u/Vin13ish [link] [comments]

The Cosmic Order

The Dilemma: Now that phase 4 is over, I wanted to talk about the release order of the movies and shows. It's just a mess. One of the main strikes against this phase that has been brought up time and time again is the lack of cohesiveness between movies within the phase, and I believe the release order had a big part to play in that. Another flaw in the release order was the length of time that passed between the death of Black Widow in Endgame and her own movie. By the time Marvel was able to give her a proper goodbye, the fans had already mourned her death and moved on. It was a movie that had a very "phase 3 feel" to it, and felt out of place being released when it did. That needs to be rectified. Thirdly, the time between phase 3's Spider-Man: FFH and phase 4's Spider-Man: NWH just makes the timeline feel disorganized. So many stories were told between the two movies. If the third movie picks up where the second movie ended, I want to feel that sense of c

What is a list of Special Presentations that you would like to see?

We got two of them in the span of a couple months, but no future ones have been confirmed. There are rumors, but I won't believe them until they are official. What is a list of special presentations you would like to see get made? It can be related to a holiday, or a simple side-story that doesn't tie in to the greater narrative. This is my personal list. One that centers on Kate Bishop and Yelena on a road-trip Thelma and Louise style. One on America Chavez that shares more of her backstory and shows her learning more on the main universe. One on Ms. Marvel and her family that feels like a bonus episode on her series. A Deadpool Christmas one. One centering on the employees of the TVA. One centered on alternate universe variants of characters like Scarlett Witch and Thor but played by different actors. submitted by /u/Inevitable_Golf_1816 [link] [comments]

If Magneto is too old to use his original back story, what's a good new one?

Yes, magneto again. Assuming they won't make Magneto in his 80s-90s, and assuming they won't change him to something more recent like make him Ukrainian or something like that, what would a good new origin story be? Change his race? Or make him an alien? Or even keep it all the same, and bring time travel into it? Like somehow when Captain America is returning the stones, he gets flung from concentration camp into modern day? (I know that's dumb, I'm just throwing out ideas) Or leave him out altogether. There's nothing saying he even needs to be in it. submitted by /u/Delayed_Yardwork [link] [comments]

(Opinion) The Doctor Strange and Spider-Man fight is the coolest thing that has happened in Phase 4.

Before I continue, I would just like to state that this is my opinion and it isn’t fact. Whether you agree with me or not, cool. There are a ton of badass moments in Phase 4 and I can understand why some might be your favorite (such as Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield portal scene baby!!!!!) but this is my personal favorite. I love this whole battle so much because one what the stakes are and 2 because it just looks cool the way it’s choreographed and what not. Also from my understanding it’s the only real superhero vs superhero fight we get in Phase 4 unless you wanna include Wanda in MoM/WV maybe? That’s besides the point though. During this whole fight I couldn’t just help but stop smiling but also feel such high tension because I didn’t know whether I should be rooting for Peter or going against him, I mean this is his film after all. What I love though is how Strange is also a protagonist to us (he’s a side character in this film) but you can’t help but look at his POV too and

On the love for Yondu...

Time and again you see people living Yondu. I don't get it. Where is this love coming from? I'm not talking about loving his character, his character is awesome, but this washing that Yondu is a good person because of his lines in GotG2. Yeah, it was sweet ("He may have been your father, boy. But he wasn't your daddy.") But I mean, neither was Yondu. He was HORRIBLE to Peter! Never mind that he actually kidnapped Peter when he was, like 10, he abused him! He kept scaring him by threatening him to be eaten! As a joke! Throughout both movies you see him berating him, yelling at him, threatening him, over and over. No wonder Peter has issues. Then in The GotG Christmas Special he literally yelled at Peter and Scraglin because they set up a tree, and he tells them that he hates Christmas, when all Peter wanted was to show his appreciation . Yondu is an abusive father, and he's barely better than Ego. I can get liking him as a joke, but he's NOT a good par

Will a tonal change for Thor make people look fondly on L&T in the future?

I like L&T and see it for what it is - a transition point for Thor, recovering from all the trauma and loss after Endgame. I understand that people are ready to get back to the awesome and heroic Thor that we saw a glimpse of in IW, and I think L&T left him at a reasonable place to be just that. AoU is looked on fondly now and wasn’t at the time. Will this be similar? Edit: grammar. submitted by /u/CaptainTurtle3218 [link] [comments]

Has anyone done a complete MCU rewatch which includes Agent Carter, Agents of Shield, the Defenders shows and all the other lesser related shows (Runaways, Helstrom, etc)?

I've decided to start the journey and although I know its going to be a super super long one, I have a feeling its going to be really cool to watch the MCU in a way that feels so much larger. I also feel like it'll make the movies feel a lot bigger and grander, since they'll essentially act as the "main event" after a bunch of street level TV episodes. I'm just wondering if anyone has done this before, and if so was it worth doing, and would you recommend it? submitted by /u/Senor_Tortuga308 [link] [comments]

One problem about the MCU is I never get the feeling of watching an "epic"

This isn't an attack on the MCU because I love it alot, but one thing that has always bothered me They don't feel epic, even the ones with huge scales like Infinity War and Endgame, i don't get that same feeling of Epicness or that I'm witnessing an epic journey, it's hard to explain. Compared to something like LOTR or heck, even a film I am mixed on like Avatar where it feels like you really are on an epic adventure. Again it's hard for me to explain why. submitted by /u/MoneyKasha [link] [comments]

I Sure Hope Sharon Carter In TF&WS Was A Skrull.

Because it's the only way I can make any sense out of Sharon sending an army of killers after herself (in the dockyard fight scene). Also, how Sharon could be upstairs in a building firing a sniper rifle in defense of Bucky, Sam , Zemo, and then a mere seconds later she pops out of nowhere in the street. I could go with the idea that there were two Sharons -- the real one infiltrating the Power Broker's organization for the CIA, and a Skrull Sharon inserting itself here and there. And the Skrull is the one we see at the end. submitted by /u/AdventurousAd8436 [link] [comments]

Best original MCU song

There are now three original MCU songs: Agatha All Along- A 1950s style sitcom song I Can Do This All Day- a broadway musical song I Don't Know What Christmas is (but Christmas Time is Here)- an aliens take on an Earth Christmas song All three very different in style and sound, but which one is your favorite? Personally, I think Agatha All Along is my favorite. It's incredibly catchy. Fun Fact: All three songs came out in consecutive years in the MCU. Black Panther 2 woke? What??

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a woke apologist who lies through their teeth pretending not to know what the word means. I thought She-Hulk was absolutely riddled with it with them presenting 99% of the straight male characters either as less competent than the women, as assholes, as immature, or as combinations of all those things. And that scene where Jen talks down to Bruce-freakin-Banner and tells him that she's had to deal with her anger infinitely more than him was absolutely disgusting. But you get none of that in Black Panther Wakanda Forever. The story being centered around mostly female characters made all the sense in the world. Most of the main male characters were killed off (RIP Chadwick) and it wouldn't make sense to suddenly focus the story on other male characters like M'Baku or Okoye's husband. Riri isn't new, she's from the comics and she's always been black and always been a woman and I absolutely loved the scene where Riri trie

I finally finished the show, i know I'm late. I loved the season finale... until the 4th wall break with Kevin just ruining an already below-average show. theory

I have a theory of why there are dc references in the MCU. I think that dc movies and shows exist but not in the same way that it exists in this reality. In our world we have cop shows and medical shows and I think in the MCU they use dc superheroes as a cop show but as hero shows as heroes are common place just like how police and doctors are common place in our reality. submitted by /u/JAMES_THE_YEET [link] [comments]

Interesting Marvel comicbooks

Earlier I saw a post that talked about iconic comicbook scenes that have not been adapted to screen in the MCU and as I read the comments I was struck by how many memorable moments I've missed by my lack of comic reading. So are there any recommended runs that an MCU viewer should read? What about other interesting stories that you like and recommend to read too? If it helps, I'm vaguely familiar with some of the events presented in comics that have been adapted into, or that inspired, MCU movies and tv shows, though the only one I've read is the main Civil War event (which is also the only Marvel comic I've ever read). Thank you all in advance and sorry if there are any mistakes, english is not my main language :) submitted by /u/Alemani29 [link] [comments]

The plot of Black panther 2

I’m sorry but I actually contemplated leaving the theatre because I knew exactly what was going to happen as soon she got abducted. It makes no sense as to why Shuri would not think to have someone tell her mom that she was ok? I get the whole idea of suspension of disbelief but whenever I get lost in an unknown place the first thing I do is call my parents or like a friend or something. If the mom knew that her daughter was ok she never would have sent nakia to “save” shuri. They could have been way more diplomatic. It just seems very out of character for wakanda to be so ignorant. That’s just my opinion though. I no I probably sound like the guy who is no fun at parties but that’s just the way I watch movies I guess. submitted by /u/gmoneyswag3655 [link] [comments]

Does NWH change the fate of the Raimi and Webb universes or creates new timelines?

I’m a little confused on NWH honestly and I hope someone can help me here. Considering Peter cures all the villains and they don’t end up dying does this simply branch new timelines in those universes or they’re all in the same universe? Like, does each person canonically go to a new timeline including T&A or they all go back to the same universe but different fate? Also do they remember anything in NWH or do they forget it ever happened when they go back? Also random but I wonder how many years passed for T&A in NWH since A says how he stopped pulling punches (we never saw him kill in TASM 2) then Peter was obviously very old. submitted by /u/hushpolocaps69 [link] [comments]

Wakanda Forever: Could Everett Ross become what Thunderbolt Ross can't?

Aka, the Red Hulk? I know someone asked before whether Everett Ross could be related to the ex-General, ex-Secretary of State Thaddeus Ross (William Hurt, RIP), and the answer was that it's a common name, and there's no reason to believe they're related. That said, William Hurt is no longer with us, and with Everett now (presumably) wanted by the U.S. authorities for consorting with a foreign power, is there a path to turning him into the Red Hulk? Possibly in the same way that Sharon Carter became the Power Broker? I have no idea of the plot mechanism necessary for this, but it just occurred to me as a narrative possibility, especially with his ex-wife Valentina sowing chaos all around. submitted by /u/PirateBeany [link] [comments]

Black Panther Wakanda Forever: Someone said this to me, anyone who can counter these

Wakanda didn't engage in any conflict. But what about their neighbouring African countries which suffers from poverty, what about them. When you have an abundance of resources, but you still refuse to help the neighbouring countries. Is it fine for Wakanda to conduct unilateral operations against nuclear armed superpowers. Or what about conducting military operations in Sovereign countries with innocent civilians all around (if you had not guessed, then it's from The Falcon and The Winter Soldier). The point I am trying to make here is that Wakanda is an hypocrite I understand that Namor got there through some underwater route which the so called strongest country don't have anything to shield them from that. It's okay the first time, but what about the second time. What about the time when they attacked Wakanda. Is Wakanda so stupid that they didn't take any major incase the Talokans attack, why didn't they block the route or something like that. Well I g

Shuri at the end of black panther 2

I was really, really hoping that shuri would kill namor at the end when she had the spear to his neck. Every single marvel movie does this, or at least it feels like it, like right at the end the hero goes through their nice flashback and spates the villain. I know she’s the hero and she made the right choice to spare him to protect both peoples blah blah but just once I want a hero to have their emotional flashback and then just fucking end the villain after Cus 1 day shouldn’t be enough time to let the guy who murders ur family and a shit ton of ur people live. That’s why I really like deadpool, it doesn’t try to sugarcoat stuff, at the end of the first deadpool at least he ended Ajax. Obviously I like movies where the hero comes out on top and does the right thing but I wish just a few movies would end dark as shit. submitted by /u/Dr-icetea [link] [comments]

About doctor strange not knowing who Thanos was

I think it’s an unfair criticism of him and it’s really not a plot hole…. When doctor strange mentions he keeps tab on threats he means beings with supernatural abilities especially magic, thanos at that point is just a guy who can punch hard and has advance science degree or some shii submitted by /u/Charming-Ad-4323 [link] [comments]

Could the Book of Vishanti be in a remote part of the Quantummania universe? Note the similar description and coloring of places.

Help: Which film has a lot of Calm Hulk in it?

I saw a clip on YouTube where he gives Ant Man a taco. I like this form of Hulk a lot. Do any of the movies have a lot of him in it when he’s calm and laid back? Thanks submitted by /u/breezy-shorts [link] [comments]

While Mantis had Thanos asleep, Nebula or Drax could have fatally slit/stabbed his throat. Instead their idea was to pull off the glove? Other than the fact that the movie would then be over, why would that be the plan?

Phase Four

I just realized that the entirety of Phase four central themes are about Grief, loss and in some ways revenge. From Shang Chi , Spider-man, Doctor Strange, thor and Wakanda forever, and the tv shows. All these characters need a hug . Especially Shuri, Spiderman and thor submitted by /u/FirmAd6452 [link] [comments]

WandaVision, She-Hulk, and [eventually] Vision Quest are adaptions from iconic John Byrne era comic runs. What other Byrne story bits are scattered through the movies/series?

[SPOILER] This movie really touched my heart as a Haitian Marvel Fan

As a Haitian Marvel fan, Haiti’s inclusion in the movies genuinely brought me to tears. I’m so used to media only portraying Haiti’s poverty and corruption, that seeing Haiti portrayed even neutrally is surprising to me. But this movie even took it a step farther and showed a glimpse of the country’s beauty from the adorable children in the school and the colorful tap tap truck, to the emotionally moving beach scene at the end. I honestly didn’t think we’d see Haiti or any Haitians in the MCU until Brother Voodoo, but this made me extremely happy. Especially since young T’Challa was born and raised there. And the fact that he was named after such an important figure and in Haiti’s history makes it even better. I can’t believe that I can say that young T’Challa, the future Black Panther, is Haitian. I also think Haiti’s inclusion in this movie is very symbolic and intentional. Out of all the black countries in the world and even in the Caribbean, Coogler chose Haiti. Why? Well, look a

What I loved about Wakanda Forever

• As much as I didn’t want Shuri to take the mantle, I feel the right choice was made to have her as the protector while M’Baku resides on the throne • Shuri seeing Killmonger in the Ancestral Plane was a surprise, but a welcomed one • Namor was absolutely the best antagonist we’ve gotten in Phase 4. I found myself rooting for him at one point. He was menacing and exciting. I’ll be looking forward to seeing more of him and the Talokans (Talokians?) in the future • Dominique Thorne as RiRi Williams is going to do amazing things in her solo series • The introduction of T’Challa and Nakia’s son was a perfect end cap to the story being told submitted by /u/dcarp1231 [link] [comments]

Namor was completely justified in all of his actions in Black Panther 2

So i see alot of people saying namor overreacted with everything but lemme layout everything that happened the way i see it in chronological order and also explain why i think all of his actions were reasonable and justified or at the least understandable Event 1. Many of Namor’s people die due to diseases brought by colonizers and because of said disease they resort to taking the vibranium herb and they move to the sea. When Namor comes to see what has happened on the surface world he sees how the colonizers are now enslaving others and also enslaving people who wouldve been the same race as him This causes Namor to have zero empathy for the surface people which is also completely justified and explains why he doesnt help the surface world in any of the avenger level threats. I would also like to add that if he were to help out it would expose Talokan and his people and seeing as protecting his people is his top priority saving some people in New York or wherever else isn’t worth

How important to your MCU experience is having a core character(s) you personally anchor the story's progression around (i.e., Iron-Man or Captain America)?

Sorry for the title gore.... Not totally sure how to describe my premise, so I'll try below. It's no secret that phase 1-3 had a huge undercurrent centered around Iron-man, Steve/Captain America, and the development of their characters. Many of the projects featured them directly or weaved them in to some extent anchoring the story cohesively together. Except for Thor, I think it's fair to say they were the main characters for the most part and part of the reason that civil war pits them against each other (and had them make up over the IW and Endgame). Their absence in phase 4 has been pretty noticeable to me personally. I was always 'Team Cap' and gleefully went into every movie hoping I would see him featured directly, in a post-credit scene, or catch wind of something that would intersect with his character development. Always loved seeing Tony in the MCU (3rd favorite character) both for his character development, his sheer presence onscreen, and how Tony an
