Thoughts on Kate Bishop as the main protagonist of Hawkeye?

It's been a while since Hawkeye came out but I found it interesting how Kate Bishop was literally the main protagonist of the show. I was expecting her to be a deuteragonist but nope, she literally hogs the most screen time in the whole show, beating Clint Barton with 10 minutes more screen time. On one hand, I love Kate Bishop so I don't mind her as the protagonist but on the other hand, I was expecting Hawkeye himself to shine in his own show. submitted by /u/Spoonmaster14 [link] [comments]

GotG3 : a bit late and confused

How does the High Evolutionary go from the Sovereign to Counter Earth from an evolutionary perspective? Is it just any project he feels like? Because it seems like he is very obsessed with progress and going from the Sovereign to Counter Earth at least from the depiction in the movies seems regressive. He is so willing to just blow it all up after clearly years of progress like did his skills get worse or he started back at square one with a new biology (a few steps back for more steps forward)? I loved the movie but this was baffling to me. submitted by /u/sherrifm [link] [comments]

From the TV/ Movie multiverse, which actor & character do you hope appear and stay in the MCU after Secret Wars

My picks are: From The Gifted: Polaris & Blink From Legion: David, Carey and Carrey From X-Men: Deadpool, Collosus, Juggernaut From Ghost Rider: Nic Cages Ghost Rider From Agents Of Shield: Quake Japanese Spider-Man and his Mech 1990 Captain America as old man Cap For some fun cameos, some of the cast of Generation X and Hoff Nick Fury submitted by /u/Goddamuglybob [link] [comments]

Possible Hot take: Secret Wars shouldn't include everyone in the MCU, nor everyone from outside of the MCU. They should only have the key players + a couple cameos

Considering the connections between Disney & Marvel, are there any art galleries with MCU characters as Jedi, Sith, Mandalorians, and basically, Marvels: A Galaxy Far, Far Away?

I'd love to see Matukai Master Danny Rand, Mandalorian Drax, Jedi Master Murdock, and Darth Chaos. If such an art gallery doesn't exist, who would you want to see a Star Wars version of, and how? Any artists in the audience wanna take this opportunity to show off their impressive skills? Also, could we get a pic of King T'challa Shaking hands in brotherhood with Jedi Master Mace Windu? Those two bad mutha fuggaz should've been able to meet at least once in the MCU, seriously... Anyways, I don't know if this'll get taken down, but please post a link or maybe let this be a muse to ya! submitted by /u/Timber-Faolan [link] [comments]

When testing out time travel in Endgame, I can understand Hawkeye volunteering himself, but why in the world would they choose the placement to be his farmhouse where his family is still alive?

I never understood this. Clint is already emotionally unstable, so why would they send him so close to his family that could have easily given him more PTSD if the their heist plan ended up failing? Isn’t there a huge chance that he could end up doing something stupid and ruining that family’s timeline where they see their father disappearing in front of them? Why not go back to a time that wouldn’t be so emotionally triggering? submitted by /u/raisingcuban [link] [comments]

Loki's "Time-slipping" in the season 2 trailer is way more important than we think and makes Loki a more important than ever before. Let me Explain.

TLDR: After visiting the Citadel, Loki is able to slip through time without the use of a Tempad. Once he learns to control it, he will be a formidable adversary to Kang as the two fight through time and space In the Loki Trailer, we see our titular hero uncontrollably slipping through time. Mobuis and Loki go to Ke Huy Quan's OB looking for a cure but are told that "timeslipping" should not be possible in the TVA. We have seen this in the first season that Magic and items such as the Infinity Stones do not work in the TVA, so what is happening with Loki? Here's my take. Loki is no longer subject to the rules of time after visiting the citadel at the end of time. he has essentially become a tempad, able to jump between points without any external portals or devices. He obviously cannot control it at the moment, but if he can learn to harness this power, then he may become one of the most powerful characters in the MCU. Its yet to be seen but sylvie may have this

When we get him, how do you want to see him? Traditional armor? Any particular artist style (i.e. Kirby, Byrne, Ross...)? Do you want him MCU-ized with more elaborate armor and textures? Moving jaw faceplate or fixed mask?

Wanda 838 power level

I wonder if W838's power level will be greater than W616. I have a theory that when W616 was crushed in her throne room. I wonder if that flash of magic was the powers of the Scarlet Witch being released to the multiverse. Due to the fact that they were so connected to each other. I wonder if the SW was absorbed by W838. W616 was exposed to the soul stone continually for years. Not to mention the proximity to the power when she destroyed the stone. She goes to 838 and absorbers the power from Captain Monica Marvel. This being the second stone she was exposed to. Not to mention the powers W818 already had. When Wanda talks about the Scarlet Witch, she talks about her as if it were its own entity aside from herself. I think W838s arc is going to deal with he trying to keep this evil version of herself in check. Now that we've seen how OP she is. It's even gives an explanation why going forward. She tries not to use her powers for fear of like the SW take over. submitte

Anybody else wish the mcu would actually focus on the worldbuilding they introduce in each solo movie? Instead of never expanding it in the sequels

Both Thor and dr strange introduced new corners of the marvel universe in there solo films. But they never use the Lore or expand it the next movies. They just introduce other concepts. Thor has nine realms to explore, Yet only 3 have any screen time, all of them are Boring as hell with no personality or history. The rest are reduced to 3 minute cameos and alfheim is not even seen. Thor 4 introduces the other god pantheons, but instead of explaining their place in the universe, origins or anything of substance, their just their for More jokes. If there is a Thor 5 they for sure are getting forgotten. Dr strange introduces magic, other dimensions, the sanctums, mordo. All of this abandoned in the next film, which decides it's now going to explore the multiverse, instead of anything from the first film. It also brings new elements to the Lore like the darkhold, the book of vishanti, the temple dedicated to the Scarlett witch. I highly doubt the third film is going to explain any

Doctor Doom theory

I know this is very unlikely as there probably isn’t any precedent for it in the comics, but I could see it working… Dr. Strange becomes Dr. Doom. The MCU has been slowly setting up Steven’s corruption. We’ve seen versions of him become corrupted and we’ve been told that his existence is a threat to reality. Our main MCU Strange is supposed to be special, but he’s already shown that he will use magic in shady or even forbidden ways to achieve his goals and that he isn’t empathetic when he believes there’s a greater risk. Now he’s been corrupted by the Darkhold. We saw how that basically undid Wanda’s breakthrough at the end of WandaVision. Doom is such a great character and believes in his own reasoning, which can often be empathized with. Strange has been stripped of the Sorcerer Supreme title, but still sees himself above Wong and other magic users. Cumberbatch is a big name and Dr. Strange seems to be one of the few sticking around. I think Strange is one big facial scar awa

What do you think is next for wandas character?

With general consensus being she’s not actually dead and Kevin hinting at more to come in some form, what should it be? Redemption? She obviously has done a lot especially in MoM but I don’t think she’s particularly unforgivable especially with the part the darkhold played. So just back to being an avenger? Wonder man and Vision are both getting shows, two notable love interests of hers. Something there? Mentions in Agatha’s show? submitted by /u/Aksongsuwhsbs [link] [comments]

What do you think makes battleworld?

Seeing as they’re replacing doom with Kang and I doubt we’re getting beyonders, there’s no magic or grand cosmic power at play here it’s all just tech. Yeah tech that can reset timelines before they branch into full universes, but it’s not combining multiple universes and shaping them together into a world of your making and everyone loses their memories kinda tech. We’re lacking a grander omnipotent power. submitted by /u/Aksongsuwhsbs [link] [comments]

How Would You Change the Ant-Man Trilogy to Make it Better?

Us MCU fans are blessed with some really solid trilogies, but unfortunately the consensus seems to be that the Ant-Man trilogy is not one of them, with the third film being considered one of the weakest entries in the MCU. So, if you could change anything about the trilogy to make it stand alongside the greats (Captain America and Guardians) what would those changes be? I personally thought the first film was great fun and find it to be one of the more underrated MCU films. The problems for me arose with the sequels. There’s some great lore in the comics that went unused for those films and it boggles my mind that they didn’t even pull from Ant-Man’s rogues gallery for them. What would you change about this trilogy? submitted by /u/MidnightMan11 [link] [comments]

Why are we getting a Wiccan project?

Same could be said for Iron Heart but even she at least had a solo book. Even if it turns out to be adapting a Young Avengers story, why not just make it a young avengers project? In the comics he primarily exists to be wholesome with his bf, like if you turned the appeal of heart stopper into a couple Marvel characters. Then he has a bit of an arc with being the omnipotent demiurge. Don’t get me wrong I don’t hate his character just is it really solo project worthy you know? submitted by /u/Aksongsuwhsbs [link] [comments]

Phil Sheldon in the MCU

Image
Phil Sheldon in the MCU In the MCU Phil Sheldon could be a film maker gradually working on a documentary about normal people navigating in a world of superheroes. This would develop through Sheldon making appearances and cameos over the course of a phase, similar to Coulson in Phase One. Then the “documentary” would be released on Disney+ as a special presentation. An adaption of the classic miniseries ”Marvels” . But since that name is taken maybe it could be “Avenged” . Or maybe, “Mutants” . It’d be awesome to see Alex Ross’s epic art done in live action too. submitted by /u/FictionFantom [link] [comments]

Agents of Shield is the best MCU TV series

I just finished the show. Wow, that was a great show and great finish. Honestly, everything was great. I don't recall a dull episode. Every episode was great. My favorite season was season 4. I really liked the ending. I also thought it was cool that they basically ignored the events of Infinity War and Endgame, even though those were mentioned. Some cool future story ideas

The final season of What If…? Animated Series should totally end with adapting the “Original Sin” comic book. Without spoilers, In this comic series it’s like a murder mystery featuring The Watcher. They could take advantage of this story and make it a cool multiversal murder mystery as a series finale for What If…? Also I was thinking about how they could team up Thor and Moon Knight in a future movie or series or even a special presentation. It’d be cool if Thor got encased/ trapped in one of those stone figurines they put Khonshu in. Maybe Zeus trapped him in one idk. Then maybe have Donald Blake find the stone figure and break it, and that’s how he gets connected to Thor in the MCU. I could see Donald Blake as a character they could introduce in Moon Knight season 2 as a friend of Steven Grant. submitted by /u/rcarroll271 [link] [comments]

What If… Dr. Strange saw another scenario where he died instead?

So, what if it comes out somewhere down the MCU Phases that Dr. Strange actually saw a second scenario where they defeated Thanos, but it was Strange who sacrificed himself instead of Tony. I can totally see Strange choosing to sacrifice another Avenger over himself as it’s pretty well know he has an ego complex and often considers “his” solutions as the only solutions worth pursuing. I can also see Strange making the assuming that he holds more value than other Avengers. What ramifications would this have? What would it lead to? Thoughts? submitted by /u/Zdvj [link] [comments]

Since his debut in 2011, Steve Rogers has made an appearance in the MCU every year up until his final appearance in 2019.

Was thinking about this post recently and how we haven't seen or heard from our new Captain in over 2 years. So I went back and looked at how often Steve showed up, Lo and behold quite a lot. Marvel made sure audiences would hear from Steve at least once a year. 2011: Captain America: The First Avenger 2012: The Avengers 2013: Thor: The Dark World (Cameo) 2014: Captain America: The Winter Soldier 2015: Avengers: Age of Ultron & Ant-Man(Cameo) 2016: Captain America: Civil War 2017: Spider-Man: Homecoming (Cameo) 2018: Avengers: Infinity War 2019: Captain Marvel (Cameo) & Avengers: Endgame Looking at all this made me realize two things.1). how burnt out Chris must've been from playing this character, 2). They haven't done best of jobs pushing sam as the new captain America. Maybe it was covid or just scheduling issues with Mackie I'm not sure, but to not even mention with easter eggs is wild to me. I'm still Team Cap, but I've always found it fascinating how neatly both Steve's and Tony's arcs leading up to Civil War end up informing their stances on the issue. Tony had bad experiences with having too much free rein on what he could do. submitted by /u/Educational-Tea-6572 [link] [comments]

Does the rest of the universe know Iron Man snapped them all back? Or is it just a mystery to them?

I'm not 100% up to date on the MCU so I apologize if this is explained somewhere but I was wondering, do the other alien races know how they all were snapped back? Or I guess that they were snapped and unsnapped at all? Is it just this strange phenomenon for the other planets where half of them died and then came back 5 earth years later with no info on why/how? submitted by /u/GloriousNewt [link] [comments]

How will Marvel Universe differentiate between Adamantium and Vibranium?

Both are magic metals. But Vibranium has been shown to collect and discharge kinetic energy. What do you think are the defining characteristics of Adamantium they will actually use; and hopefully extend. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adamantium https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vibranium My hope is they focus on the unbreakability. Like I remember swords breaking on his back in some comics. What is your hope? Yes, I am new... I am bad at reddit. submitted by /u/realcbuteau [link] [comments]

Stephen arc in MoM is so well made, showing him growing as a person by learning from his alternate selves:

Image
I mean, in order to create Dead Strange and have a chance against Wanda, he uses Sinister Strange's Darkhold, he dremwalks in Defender Strange corpse and is helped by the Christine Palmer from Supreme Strange Universe (838). At the end of the road, he has also gained new things thanks to his journey: America saved herself because he didn't choose for her like Defender Strage did, the Cloak of Levitation has a piece obtained from the one belonged to Supreme Strange and Stephen has a third eye now just like Sinister Strange because of the Darkhold. It's quite an arc, if you ask me ... submitted by /u/LUKEgz97 [link] [comments]

Captain Marvel Fans:

How do you feel about someone else having her powers? I don't think I like it lol. I liked that she was unique and I love Brie Larson in the role. Are you bothered? Annoyed? Do you care? submitted by /u/captainraven8 [link] [comments]

The secret Invasion Finale. What was the plan?

I really hate that I have to say this, but, what was the plan? What was fury's plan for giah to bring the harvest to gravik as him? Was she supposed to kill gravik when he wasn't noticing? Was the plan to let gravik use the machine while giah was in the machine so they can have a superhero showdown? How exactly did they know that was gonna work out perfectly? And by Chance, giah is able to win? Why would you not have decoy harvest or something? God, I think this is the most infuriating thing for me. Forget the skrulls finding a home. This was Fury, putting on his leather duster and eyepatch, his big comeback plan. His plan was to GIVE gravik everything he asked for? Urgh. If whether or not WW3 starts lies with whether or not Rhodes can convince the president, then why not just focus the plan there instead? Why would you ever ever risk giving gravik the harvest? submitted by /u/saibjai [link] [comments]

What MCU Project is Least Likely to Happen?

With Disney looking to reign in spending and cut back on projects that won’t generate significant ROI, which previously announced MCU project(s) do you think are least likely to happen at this point? submitted by /u/justquestioningit [link] [comments]

Ms marvel is one of the first in a new big mutant population boom.

I think this is the easiest way to introduce mutants, just a natural population boom that took place 15-20 years ago that’s only becoming apparent now because mutants commonly discover their powers as teens. I see a lot of crazy ideas for how to squeeze mutants in, like telepathic shielding of their existence or the multiverse. But I don’t think that’s necessary. They’ve always been around, just very few until now. So that means everyone who’s meant to be older like wolverine, Charles, magneto, mystique, destiny, apocalypse etc can be. submitted by /u/Nearby-Can9806 [link] [comments]

Should the MCU get rebooted?

With Secret wars closing out the multiverse saga would i be better for the MCU to keep going with our established charecters, Or Should they start a true 616 now that they have all the rights and charecters they need. submitted by /u/Knudy69 [link] [comments]

How does society still exist on Earth?

The question of safety often comes to mind when talking about the Earth in the MCU, i.e. there could be a catastrophic event at anytime, people must live in fear. But how has society not collapsed because of this? In the past few years, literally half the population disappeared and returned 5 years later. The issues with that were addressed in FatWS, but were they all fixed following Sam’s speach? A literal god emerged from the earth in the Eternals. And now after Secret Invasion, people have found out that shape shifting aliens live among them… Do people still just mind their business and carry-on like nothing happened? Who cares about laws, the economy, environment or even their own health if any day could be your last? I get that it wouldn’t be fun or necessarily entertaining to use screen time on this stuff, but it’s funny to me to imagine that people can just brush off these recurring events, and go back to work or walking their dog or whatever. submitted by /u/Jerfunkel

is there some kind of "MARVEL METHOD" in the MCU productions?

I'm not really following this closely, but I know a lot if not most of the MCU films and tv series have had big delays and extra costs due to many rewrites and reshoots. Of course I understand some of these are caused by Real World events ( covid pandemics, Russian invasion of Ukraine, ..) or to adapt to the stories of other films released just before ( which would imply a serious lack of "editorial" coordination / direction). But could there be more to it? A deliberate choice of the powers that be ( Feige?) to work that way with constant revisions by other creators ( writers, directors..)? In the comics industry, Stan Lee oft congratulated himself for developing and spreading the very efficient " MARVEL Method" which proved very successful. Basically he would have an idea and give a very basic plot / synopsis to a trusted artist. The latter would then do the majority of the work, filling in the plot and imagining the layout before drawing the whole story an

After having seen 'The Bear', i think that Jeremy Allen White would be perfect as the new Wolverine for the MCU, as he's just 5'6 tall he is also more in line with comic Wolverine.

Kangs dynasty should’ve been used more like 2012 avengers and rather than infinity war

And it should be out already. Even if that means we wouldn’t have gotten eternals. The kangs dynasty storyline I think could’ve been perfect as a means to build a new team, Kang arrives, takes over the world, avengers stop him, kang then becomes a reoccurring character. That’s it. And the movie is JUST about avengers members, not a billion other characters. Then have incursions cooking in the background, introducing F4 and dr doom, Incursions become more prominent, dr doom shows up everywhere, incursions become More prominent and all heroes are now aware, time runs out then secret wars. I just don’t see this strat of introducing so many characters who aren’t interacting then all of a sudden we get the biggest crossover event in marvel history working out too well. We need REAL build up, impact and good writing. submitted by /u/Nearby-Can9806 [link] [comments]

MCU Halloween

So for Halloween, I always do a big yard display and since the majority of trick or treaters are younger, I tend to do blockbuster movies instead of anything scary or horror themed. I usually change out themes about every 2-3 years. Back in 2019 and 2020 my theme was the MCU and Avengers. I've got a big 16 foot screen and I always edit something to tie in with the theme. So for this one I did the MCU from Iron Man to Endgame. Pretty proud of this one. Let me know what you all think! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tQ_mexK__bw submitted by /u/Screenwriting_Hell [link] [comments]

Doctor Strange MoM: I just love how each Strange's magic has a different color, clearly reflecting who they are.

Image
Defender Strange more like a magical warrior, so his magic is blueish/white like the Book of Vishanti magic, using the purest form of also because he is the Sorcerer Supreme of his Universe. Doctor Strange is the classic orange Eldritch magic we've seen so far (plus a series of other spells of different colors). Sinister Strange magic is purple because he corrupted himself by using the Darkhold (like Agatha Harkness) Dead Strange is a walking corpse controlled by 616 Strange, so his magic is a mix between the classic orange and a black effect, as if the magic itself was under some sort of necrotic state just like Defender Strange body. submitted by /u/LUKEgz97 [link] [comments]

I'm a grown man and this is the scene that completely wrecked me. Maybe even worse then Tony in Endgame.

I believe that Iron Man 2 may possibly be better than 3 and 1 and here’s why

Image
Iron Man two contributes to the MCU more than you could ever imagine it introduces black widow, it introduces war machine with dom Cheadle. It also gives Tony and afraid we have characters like Justin Hammer that provides some good comic relief, and the main lackluster for the movie is probably Vanko, but when we think about vanko, we also think about the Monaco scene, one of the greatest MCU scenes of all time. submitted by /u/SunRiseCollects [link] [comments]
