When testing out time travel in Endgame, I can understand Hawkeye volunteering himself, but why in the world would they choose the placement to be his farmhouse where his family is still alive?
I never understood this. Clint is already emotionally unstable, so why would they send him so close to his family that could have easily given him more PTSD if the their heist plan ended up failing?
Isn’t there a huge chance that he could end up doing something stupid and ruining that family’s timeline where they see their father disappearing in front of them?
Why not go back to a time that wouldn’t be so emotionally triggering?
