Since his debut in 2011, Steve Rogers has made an appearance in the MCU every year up until his final appearance in 2019.
Was thinking about this post recently and how we haven't seen or heard from our new Captain in over 2 years. So I went back and looked at how often Steve showed up, Lo and behold quite a lot. Marvel made sure audiences would hear from Steve at least once a year.
2011: Captain America: The First Avenger
2012: The Avengers
2013: Thor: The Dark World (Cameo)
2014: Captain America: The Winter Soldier
2015: Avengers: Age of Ultron & Ant-Man(Cameo)
2016: Captain America: Civil War
2017: Spider-Man: Homecoming (Cameo)
2018: Avengers: Infinity War
2019: Captain Marvel (Cameo) & Avengers: Endgame
Looking at all this made me realize two things.1). how burnt out Chris must've been from playing this character,
2). They haven't done best of jobs pushing sam as the new captain America. Maybe it was covid or just scheduling issues with Mackie I'm not sure, but to not even mention with easter eggs is wild to me. But looking at this list above do you believe Sam is gonna have even half as big of a push than Steve?
