Shouldn’t the Mind Stone have been more powerful?

I don’t mean specifically the laser beam bit we saw in “What if?” But Kang’s biggest “power” is how advanced his technology is. But if the Mind Stone is the source of all knowledge in the universe, knowledge of all possible technology should be known to any user of it. Or is the belief that Vision just didn’t fully tap it? submitted by /u/SnakebiteSnake [link] [comments]

Would there be an Avengers team in Captain Carter’s timeline?

As a recap, at the end of What If…? episode one, Captain Carter went through a portal during the battle with the Red Skull, then appeared through another portal in 2012. The second portal looked to have been the same portal Loki entered through in 2012’s Avengers , as Fury and Barton were standing there in front of her. If Loki never appeared on Earth, would the Avengers ever have formed? If not, what happened to Tony, Thor, and Bruce? submitted by /u/MagicJoshByGosh [link] [comments]

Who is Kang and how many films is he expected to appear in?

I'm real curious of his appearance in the next Ant-Man considering that's seen as pretty much a family-friendly comedy space in the MCU. Good job to Jonathan Major for grabbing the role. Essentially, is he the BIG BAD for Phase Six? How much of a threat is he in the comics? submitted by /u/Sea_Presentation_314 [link] [comments]

After Black Adam, before Wakanda Forever - looking back at the MCU and its competitors in the twilight of 2022

This has certainly been a year for comic book movies. Good? Bad? You decide. I'm of the opinion it was a positive experience. The Marvel Cinematic Universe is still the phenomenal haegemon colossus I grew to love between 2016 and 2019. Though I have learned to be more vigilant and perceptful (I just made this word up, yes) of its flaws, I still think it's not running short on steam. Why? Because Doctor Strange 2 and Thor 4. Multiverse of Madness fixes the lack of a distinct visual style. It showcases yet another strong antagonist in the form of Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch. It continues the journey of Stephen Strange in a good and compelling manner. It gives us the glimpse of the multiverse and introduces a promising young hero in the flesh of America Chavez. Love and Thunder is the best focking comic book movie of the year, sue me. Yes, it even outperformed the Batman ever so slightly in my eyes. The emotion is firing on all cylinders, creating a resonant and heartfelt

Sebastian Stan was on it about Wolverine's return (back in 2018)

Kang should prune (trim) hell-like universes

The concept is of multiverse and infinite realities is now entertained by theoretical physics. If infinite parallel universes are true, it means there might be a universe where you or your loved ones are infinitely suffering! Actually, there is no way around that if the concept of infinite realities is true. It is a very scary concept. I was thinking if that is the case, then it will very noble if with technological advances someone was able to invent a time machine or get the power to trim and prune those rogue universes from their root. I remembered that MCU was already entertaining a similar idea with Kang in Loki where Kang was trying to maintain a sacred timeline. I haven't read the comics but to my knowledge Kang was doing that for his personal reasons i.e to maintain one version of himself. However, if MCU try to change the intentions of this villain just like they did with Thanos, it will become much more interesting. Think about stories like a peaceful universe inventing

When does Doctor Strange in the multiverse of madness take place?

I know it takes place around 2025, but when doctor strange talks to chavez, it seems that the incident with spiderman happened very recently (the last scene of no way home is a few weeks after the fight at the statue of liberty, already in December ), does that mean that doctor strange and midnight (spring 2025) occur in close dates? Or do you think there is more than three months of distance between the Multiverse of madness and no way home? submitted by /u/Tony_Lavander [link] [comments]

Daredevil was greatly portrayed in She-Hulk

Image
These particular interactions between Spider-Man and DD is just one of the reasons I think that Daredevil was perfectly captured in the MCU. It might just be me but his subtle way of expressing stuff distinguishes from any other superhero, he's witty and oddly clever and charismatic with his quips, he's not Spider-Man type goofy, but you get what I mean. I'm sick of people only having the idea that Daredevil is this Batman-ish character and isn't allowed to be comical and cute at times, with ONLY tragic stuff going on in his life, most people complaining about him in She-Hulk are the vast majority that haven't seen anything about Daredevil other than the Netflix show, which is a great show don't get me wrong. Yes he is certainly a dark character in many aspects of his stories, but he can be lighthearted and fun at times too and the MCU greatly captured his way of interacting with other heroes, "my ass remains un-whooped" to me is something Dared

Am I the only not hyped about anything MCU related as I used to be?

Am I the only who isn’t hyped about the MCU as I used to be? Like don’t get me wrong, I was excited about Ant-Man 3, but upon seeing the trailer, I’m not too hyped for it anymore. I’m not saying it looks bad and I’ll still watch it when it comes out. I was very much excited for No Way Home last year and it was a good time seeing all the nostalgia, but when the hype died down, i realized it was just a “good” movie and not a masterpiece. I was also excited for Doctor Strange 2 but over time realized it was just alright and Thor Love and thunder was a big mehh. The best thing out of Phase 4 and that’s really grown on me is actually Shang Chi, but other than that, everything feels kinda just “alright” and don’t get me started on She-Hulk… submitted by /u/In-The-Zone-69 [link] [comments]

Do You Think It Was Always Marvel’s Plan To Release The Ant-Man & Guardians Trailer A Day Apart From Each Other?

The Guardians of The Galaxy Holiday Special had its trailer leaked today and Marvel has just now officially released it. But Ant-Man Quantumania‘s trailer had just released yesterday. And usually Marvel only does two trailer at once with big conventions (Like with Werewolf By Night’s and Secret Invasion‘s trailers both releasing during D23). So I wonder if this was always the plan, part of me thinks it was because Guardians releases a month from now and they have to get the word out soon, but then they could’ve just delayed the Ant-Man trailer. Thoughts? (Btw I’m not unhappy that we got two trailers so close to each other, just shocked). submitted by /u/Tasty_Diamond_9946 [link] [comments]

Who is an actor from the MCU that seems like they’d be a really cool person to hang out with?

Kang Has been pulling the strings throughout the entire Phase 4 using three items.

My theory is that the ten rings bangles dark hold are how Kang The Conqueror conquers universes. They make whoever finds them have an urge to conquer their world and gives them massive power. That's just my theory at least. Once Kang comes to take control whoever has them will become submissive to him including their armies or whatever else they used to help their conquest. So they basically soften up and half conquer the world for Kang before he arrives to take control. Everyone we see with these ancient artifacts gives the user power and the ability to conquer and corrupts their minds to being unreasonable and blood thirsty. That's the one throughline. Wenwu Wanda Clandestine were all unwitting pawns to Kangs game. submitted by /u/Sad-Distribution-779 [link] [comments]

Deadpool 3 Theory:

Deadpool 3 will have a portion/a bit of inspiration from the "Deadpool Kills The Marvel Universe" comic, except instead of literally killing all the characters he just kills (or I guess destroys) K.E.V.I.N. the AI. Do you think Kang Dynasty/Secret Wars will try to include all major/relevant characters like Infinity War/Endgame did?

Infinity War and Endgame were a culmination of 11 years of movies and the finale of a long running interconnected saga. Therefore, it included all of the major characters from the separate solo character and Avengers films. Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars will deal with a bigger roster of characters, along with probably more variants of characters. While I think it’s likely that all heroes related to the Avengers will be in it, I’m not sure if the less connected characters and groups will be included. This group includes whoever is going to be left of the Guardians of the Galaxy, the Eternals, Moon Knight, Werewolf by Night, the Thunderbolts, and Blade. Here’s the current roster of major characters: Major: Spider-Man, Thor, Doctor Strange, Captain Marvel, Scarlet Witch, Hulk, She-Hulk, Sam Wilson, Bucky Barnes, Ant-Man, The Wasp, Shang-Chi, Loki, Hawkeye, Kate Bishop, War Machine, Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket, Groot, Nebula, Mantis, Wong, Shuri, Okoye, Yelena, Nick Fury, Sersi, King

What can we do to improve our relations with groups focused on hating Marvel and its fandom?

I am talking specifically the MauLer crowd (aka the EFAP fans), the FilmBros of comic book Twitter and r/moviescirclejerk , the haters from r/FuckMarvel and of course angry DC/Zack Snyder fans. How can we make them hate us less, of course - if there is ANYTHING WE CAN DO ABOUT IT. Because it's so disheartening to see when a post that represents She-Hulk peculiar humor as good writing gets crossposted to r/MauLer and r/FuckMarvel and then they trash the entire fanbase, calling us names and all that stuff. It's like they cannot respect opinions, and I wonder if there's some fault in us there. Because, well, toxic positivity is a thing and pretending it isn't won't do us many favor. So for starters, I would suggest being more selective in downvotes, so that only takes that are truly baffling or offensive get the treatment. Anyways, what are your thoughts? submitted by /u/Bruhmangoddman [link] [comments]

Unsure why they removed dr strange from Wandavision

Kevin said it was to remove “Here’s a white guy let me show you how power works” but then look what they did to her character? Her thing post just having hex bolts is being a knowledgeable witch, now she’s got nowhere near the ability of the likes of Strange but still very knowledgeable and efficient in sorcery in a lot of ways. But in MoM she hasn’t even learned the spells needed to do the one thing she’s wanted. Without her how to guide she can’t do it. And half the stuff she does in the film is basic telekinesis, red balls and telepathy the mcu decided to give her as an innate ability. She’s really didn’t do anything to prove she learned something in that year she had the darkhold. I don’t expect her to be an expert in that time but they could’ve had her fight with some actual spells. We barely seen her really cast anything. Guess the mirror stuff was cool? Same way they gave captain marvel buffs so she’d be cooler (she silver surfers her way across the galaxy without her ship)

If we are getting another Hulk movie, wouldn’t Future Imperfect be a much better (and easier) story to adapt in the MCU, rather than WWH?

My approach on MCU Watch Order

Hello gang! Do you know what I've realized? That there are way too many arguments going on about what's canon or not canon to the MCU, especially at this platform (yeah ikr, how genius of me...). It might have been confusing and convoluding for some, therefore I'll explain my thoughts about this subject and share my current chronological watching order (for a marathon or something like that) at the end for the newcomers, the confused ones and the ones who still care about the MCU (since there are too many people who gave up on MCU, for valid reasons). This will be a long one, so let's get started. So currently, we can breakdown the current canon of MCU into 2 main groups: 1) Main canon 2) Canon-adjacent Let's break them down now. MAIN CANON: "What is main canon?": Basically everything made by Marvel Studios so far. Or we can rephrase that and say everything that is being involved in the Disney+'s MCU chronological order. Yeah yeah I know. The

Rights to Spider-Man supporting characters / villains

I know this is a much discussed topic here but I don’t think this particular question was discussed. Also please correct me if I say anything wrong. As far as I know Sony has the movie rights to Spider-Man and (some or all of) his supporting characters and villains. And the Marvel Studios deal with Sony was that Sony makes the Spider-Man movies in the movie and Marvel Studios can use Peter Parker / Spider-Man in the MCU but only him. I heard that characters like Ned, MJ and so on can’t appear in the non-Spider-Man mcu movies. This should also apply to Aunt May but she was in Civil War? But okay since Civil War was his first appearance in the mcu they might have made an exception for her. But what about Ned? He was in Infinity War. Okay you could say that Marvel did everything they could to make Infinity War a great movie and wouldn’t shy away from giving Sony a massive amount of money to use certain characters. But that scene could’ve easily been written out. So how is the movie ri

Kinda annoyed they killed all the mystery with the incursions

One of the things that was cool about the lead up to secret wars is no one knew what the hell was causing this up until battle world apart from Doom, Molecule man and then strange at the very end. But the mcu rules for incursions is basically “dicking about the multiverse too much” and strange and Loki already know this and ant man soon will too probably. So the lead up we get is probably not going to be about stopping incursions but rather just stopping kangs. Honestly this really is just going to be secret wars in name alone. We’re certainly not getting the mystery and overarching fear of new avengers or any of the scheming. It’s basically 100% we’re not getting the black swans, builders, mapmakers or black priests (mcu strange is too soft to join them anyway) doom if we’re lucky will rule battleworld but with none of the impact as he just won’t be around long enough to build that intimate rivalry (also strange will be too soft to be his sheriff of battleworld) submitted by

WHEN will TITANS CLASH ?!

(mild SPOILERS for Thor4 L&T post-credit scene) So we know Zeus now wants to restore the glory of the Olympian Gods and sends his son Hercules as a Champion to go fight and humiliate the Asgardian Thunder god Thor.. Most of us likely expect an epic confrontation between the two strongest gods, similar to the one they had in the comics when they first met in 1965 in a story called “When Titans Clash !” https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Journey_into_Mystery_Annual_Vol_1_1 But when do you see this could be happening? In Phase 5 or 6 ? In Phase 7? Do you see Hercules joining a New Avengers roster before Kang Dynasty or Secret Wars? No new Thor movie was announced/confirmed for a near future that I know of.. If Thor was still with the Guardians of the Galaxy, it could possibly have happened in GoG3 however briefly. Both Thor and Hercules have a long history with the High Evolutionary (and his attempts to create a new race of Gods). But they would steal the stage from the Guardians

Titania's classic Secret Wars connection - all potential spoiler for old comics and possible MCU direction.

So despite being a relatively minor character at the time the comic was released, Titania had a pretty big role in the resolution of the original 1984-85 comic. Titania was there primarily to introduce a new villain, her best friend Marsha, who is granted powers by an alien machine during the 3rd issue, transforming her into the villain Volcana. Volcana begins a relationship with C-list villain, The Molecule Man, and gives him a level of confidence he never had before, and when he finally learns that he's not just superpowered ... he's overpowered beyond anything he ever realized, learning that he can control living things as well as mere inactive elements, he realizes that villainy is just worthless and he retires to be with Volcana. Molecule Man is basically taken off the table as a threat because Titania introduced him to a girl who made him realize crime wasn't worth it. So how do you think this might play out in the MCU? submitted by /u/AlanShore60607 [li

Best MCU Show finale in your opinion?

Whats your most and least favourite finales in the MCU . Note that this post only considers the Disney+ shows, If it weren't for that, i definitely would have put Daredevil at the top but if u wish to, u can comment on any of the Netflix series as well no issues, but iam gonna do the ranking only considering the Disney+ shows. So here's my ranking based on various reasons 1- Loki- definitely subverted the traditional Big CGI fight ending and i loved how it was just a long talk between characters. And the cliffhanger was so good. The visuals were strong as well. Also a shout out to the Marvel studios intro. 2- She Hulk- tbh i dont think this finale really wrapped up she hulk in a perfect way, thought the Titania storyline didn't get any resolution and had some unanswered questions and plotholes, plus it was way too short . But for me it's one of the most memorable finales. The fourth wall breaking was very good and i know eveyone won't agree with me here. Thought

Waaaaait a minute…. Who’s that in the Black Panther Wakanda Forever toy ad?!?

My Outline For the Spider-Man College Trilogy (If the latest rumours are true)

So there are some very recent rumours that Spidey 4 will heavily connect to Born Again and feature Kingpin as the villain. Now here's my pitch for the next 3 movies if we believe this to be true: Spider-Man 4 After Fisk realizes that NYC has been overrun by super-heroes and DD and Echo foil some of his plans in Echo and Born Again, he decides to hire his own muscle. He also had some of his gun deals or something attacked by Spider-Man recently (could be the opening scene of the film) so he first decides to hire Mac Gargan and Herman Schultz who have recently been released from prison and both have a grudge against Spidey. He also hired Phineas Mason/ The Tinkerer to make them new suits and they become the Scorpion and the Shocker respectively (Herman already was the Shocker ofc, but you get what I mean). He also hires Aleksei Sytsevich and Aaron Davis, which are the Scorpion's friends that he mentioned in the post-credits of HC, all of which have had jobs thwarted by Sp
