WTF is wrong with James Gunn?!

Watching Guardians of the Galaxy 3....how in the world did he get away with making this movie? The implied animal torture and abuse.

I know, not real animals, but still. I haven't cried this much in years, not even with Love and Thunder. FWIW this is the first of a long line of raccoons I care for on my property including hand-feeding them.

EDIT: I OBVIOUSLY know the intent...I just really love raccoons a lot so it hurt. I'll be OK.

Bitter thoughts after Loki ending

Alright so I just finished Loki and I just…ugh idk. Yall im so sad I get that he gets his throne and he helps everyone. But I just wanted him to have friends and be happy. I know it’s unrealistic but I just wanted him to have friends and be happy. The first 2 avengers movies feel pretty different compared to a lot of the mcu

I was rewatching avengers 2012 and realized how different it feels to the rest of the mcu. It feels more comic booky and a little campy somehow? That's kind of what I really like about it though and really just find it interesting. Avengers age of ultron also has this more comic booky vibe to it. Any thoughts on this?
