why did anyone even die from the thanos snap

if 50% of all living beings would die or you know fade how did 50% humans die even if we say 50% of each planet imagine all bacteria ants and fish who would die instead of people realistically wouldn’t like .2% of people die also doesn’t cus you know marvel movie and for the plot but still always bothered me

The first 2 avengers movies feel pretty different compared to a lot of the mcu

I was rewatching avengers 2012 and realized how different it feels to the rest of the mcu. It feels more comic booky and a little campy somehow? That's kind of what I really like about it though and really just find it interesting. Avengers age of ultron also has this more comic booky vibe to it. Any thoughts on this?
