So what exactly is Thor

I'm watching the mcu in timeline order currently and I got to Thor the dark world, and there's a part pretty early on in the movie where Loki is talking to Odin about how he was gonna conquer earth as a benevolent God or whatever, but then Odin says that they're not Gods, and that they're basically just like humans except they live for thousands of years, but that led me to wonder what they actually are, if they're not strong enough to be actual gods but are still op af and can harness the power of lightning and stuff what exactly are they?

Bitter thoughts after Loki ending

Alright so I just finished Loki and I just…ugh idk. Yall im so sad I get that he gets his throne and he helps everyone. But I just wanted him to have friends and be happy. I know it’s unrealistic but I just wanted him to have friends and be happy. I think it sucks that he wont get that maybe that’s just me because sometimes I feel like Loki in the aspect of being looked down on.
