Bucky and his scars - or lack thereof?

So Bucky is shown to have this real ugly scarring around his shoulder, which I think makes sense considering how experimental the procedure and all that would have been. But I was wondering, why does he have no other scars? You’d think from all the implied torture along with the many missions that he went on - even from just life before being with HYDRA while at war - that he’d have more body scars to show for it? I guess with super healing it wouldn’t be as common but I would’ve thought there’d be some gnarly scars here and there. That’s all :) submitted by /u/this_is_difficult101 [link] [comments]
