How I think marvel could make Doom the villain of secret wars without it being rushed or diminishing Kang.

They can if they start introducing him in to as much as many projects as possible.

•Let every movie/show post credit tease him in some way,

•Let him have a major sizeable role in fantastic four not the villain but still an important role exploring all the relationships he has with the team.

•Make a book of doom movie/special presentation/show before Kang dynasty about his origins and history(with Kang showing up from time to time) It is possible if they free up space by removing shows like wonder man and vision quest.

•They should establish a proper relationship between Kang and doom. I recommend them using doctor doom (2019-2020) run it perfectly captures doom’s character and his relationship with Kang.

•Speaking of which delay Kang dynasty and split secret wars into two parts and delay them as well.

•Have him play a vital role in Kang dynasty but not the villain. The villain will still be Kang it’s his story.

•Let him be a big part of DS3, WWH, the rumoured illuminati show, armor wars and what ever project where Wanda returns.

•This illuminati show/movie will be important cause in this he should be interacting with all other major characters plus with reed after F4

•Let him be in a small part at least in thunderbolts, cap 4, young avengers, and iron heart.

•They should use a show not tell approach with doom unlike Kang for which they are doing the opposite.

•This could actually work in doom’s favour if they play their cards right. Doom has a history with Kang comics with Kang visiting doom just to have chats from time to time. They could make it like Kang looks upto doom and his inspiration like in the comics. So all this Kang build up will be not for waste cause Kang development is doom development in the long run.

•If you think this would result in rushing of doom then just look at dr.strange, black panther or spider man each of them had one solo movie and couple prior appearances before getting thrown into the biggest event “infinity war”.

•Gone are the days of trilogies to build up a character. Plus if they follow the above mentioned format doom will have enough screen time as a vital player.

•This doesn’t have to diminish Kang. They could write the story like no one is able to defeat Kang (and his variants). The avengers fail, Reed fails, TVA fails but doom is the only guy who triumphs him. similar to how doom is the only one to steal the beyonder’s power in the secret wars 2015 comic.

• He will not just be a big bad switch at the end. He will be one of the protagonist who we follow. He is also trying to stop the incursions like all the other heroes but where everyone loses he wins which is as “doom” you can get in a story.

• He could used in future sagas the ending of secret wars 2015 perfectly sets up that they could follow the same thing.

• The thing each big bad in marvel has like one big story to them thanos - infinity war, ultron - age of ultron, apocalypse - age of apocalypse, red skull - secret empire, Kang - Kang dynasty and similarly for doom it’s secret wars if you want to make doom the villain of another avengers movie other than secret wars you would have to go for the second best story not the first and the most memorable one.

• Don’t get me wrong Kang will have his due regardless if he’s recast or not. But rather than doing the same thing as phase 1-3 have one big bad build up for the saga this could be different and interesting and in line with their respective characters.
