Why are there so few original Marvel books/novels

I read a lot of books and novels, and as i just finished watching the latest spiderverse movie i thought: "i wonder if there are any book series that follow these characters" turns out to be some but most of them are based on comics and (i have not taken the time to read any yet) i fear that they might read akwardly seeing as they are quite "short" (actually pretty standard novels 50k to 70k words or so) and wont be able to tell the storry a comic book is able to in such a short time.

I love stories where you follow a character for hundreds of pages but i am not able to find any using these wonderfull characters that you find in the mcu.

Am i simply looking the wrong places? Do any of you have any experienve reading marvel novels? If the novel sceene was better would you engage with it?

Bitter thoughts after Loki ending

Alright so I just finished Loki and I just…ugh idk. Yall im so sad I get that he gets his throne and he helps everyone. But I just wanted him to have friends and be happy. I know it’s unrealistic but I just wanted him to have friends and be happy. I think it sucks that he wont get that maybe that’s just me because sometimes I feel like Loki in the aspect of being looked down on.
