Fucking finally!

Good job on WGA for sticking to their guns and fighting till the end.

Studios said that they would starve writers out but it seems studios are now in a tough enough financial spot to want to end this as soon as possible.

What this means for the MCU:

  1. Cap 4 will have its scheduled rewrites and reshoots probably by the end of the year. The film has finished shooting since June and is very deep in post-production. It will definitely reach its currently scheduled July date and there is a chance it is even moved up to its previous May date.

  2. Deadpool 3 was almost halfway through filming and only has ~2.5 months left, so it will be done by the end of the year and will likely be ready for release by the end of 2024, so I am predicting that it will go back to its original November 2024 date.

  3. Thundberbolts has enough time to finish its rewrites and start production almost immediately in October once the SAG strike ends, which gives it enough time to likely make its current December 2024 release date, although it could be moved to February 2025 as well.

  4. Ironheart will have its reshoots and probably be released next summer.

  5. Born Again still has 6 months of filming, so if it starts back in October, it will be done by next April and will likely be ready for a late 2024/early 2025 drop considering the episodes they had filmed pre-strike are deep in post-production by now and some of them might even be almost ready for release already.
