We, as a community, should really stop idolizing Kevin Feige.
Let me preface this by saying I fully understand the lengths this man cares about Marvel. I know he handed Hugh Jackman cues for Wolverine and that he actually does care about lore accuracy. He’s a visionary and deserves so much credit.
As a longtime comic nerd, he is not the only nerd in the industry who cares. There are so many people involved who care just as much, if not more, about how these productions are made. Yet Feige gets all the credit because his name is at the forefront. He’s one man. He has neither the time nor resources to be 100% involved in every single project.
I know this doesn’t need to be said for most people. Most of you lurk and just keep up to date on projects. But man. This vocal minority would have you think these billion dollar projects were operating with just the writer, director, and cast all in one room.
