I hope we start getting a more somber tone soon.

Secret wars involves the impending death of everything. The comics did a great job of creating an ever present sense of doom in series related to the lead up.

I really think soon projects that are tied to setting this up should create that feeling of existential dread with the death of everything around the corner.

Bitter thoughts after Loki ending

Alright so I just finished Loki and I just…ugh idk. Yall im so sad I get that he gets his throne and he helps everyone. But I just wanted him to have friends and be happy. I know it’s unrealistic but I just wanted him to have friends and be happy. The first 2 avengers movies feel pretty different compared to a lot of the mcu

I was rewatching avengers 2012 and realized how different it feels to the rest of the mcu. It feels more comic booky and a little campy somehow? That's kind of what I really like about it though and really just find it interesting. Avengers age of ultron also has this more comic booky vibe to it. Any thoughts on this?
