Why is Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 being celebrated...but Wakanda Forever is considered a disappointment?
When people mention superhero fatigue or how bad Marvel movies have been, they tend to skip over Wakanda Forever or consider it a disappointment (not a bust or a flop) and praise Guardians of the Galaxy. Why?
They did similar numbers. I think we need to temper expectations. These films aren't a disappointment simple because they didn't make a billion dollars or similar numbers to the previous film.
Nevermind the fact that, Wakanda Forever was lead by a mostly black female cast (unprecedented in today's day and age) and lost it's lead.
If both movies had the same budget and made around the same. They should be treated the same.
