Most complex MCU character?

I'd say it's probably a close race between Tony and Wanda.

For Tony, it's kind of a no-brainer. He was the big face of the Infinity Saga and of the OG 6 got by far the most character exploration. From his arrogance and recklessness to his PTSD and controlling tendencies to him always needing to be the hero, for better or worse. We got a pretty developed and complicated (by MCU standards) relationship with Pepper. His relationships with Rhodey and Steve and Peter Parker all show different sides to him. He gets to be a mentor, a role model, a hero, a villain, and his own worst enemy. He's weak, he's strong, he's everything in between. By virtue of the sheer amount of focus Tony got, he became really well-rounded and fairly deeply explored.

Wanda was really not a character in the movies. Sure, there's some stuff there. She's vulnerable and afraid despite having huge power and not being afraid to wield it. She's conflicted between wanting revenge for herself, but not wanting to be a villain. She's treated like a kid by those around her (which sometimes means she's a big powerful cannon getting wheeled around by more narratively significant characters) and it quite often means other people make decisions for her. And she can ultimately be selfish trying to protect what little she has left, and becomes reckless when she loses it.

WandaVision amplified and deepened all of that. Her relationship with Vision became the gold standard for MCU romances. They love, they bicker, they work together, they fight, they f-. They went into her past trauma and how that still guides her to this day. They expanded her selfishness to try and put what little she has left first above others' safety, but reinforced that when it comes down to it and when she's pushed, she'll sacrifice what she has for the greater good. Her scenes with Billy and Tommy are some of the best mothering the MCU's had (move aside, one single Frigga scene in Endgame). The ending shows she can still be wilfully cruel to spite others.

Multiverse of Madness was kind of a blend of retreading the stuff explored in WV in less depth, and amplifying some of the traits earlier movies had (her selfishness, her recklessness, her cannon-y-ness...except now the cannon's made of steel).

Wanda and Tony, both solid picks for me to be the most complex MCU characters. Any other choices? I could also see Thor potentially being up there but most of his character work was spread across Ragnarok and Endgame.
