What shows are going to have multiple seasons?
So far (from what I can see) only Loki and What if have got second seasons lined up, with Ms Marvel, She Hulk and Hawkeye maybe getting more but I've seen nothing confirmed.
After promising to cut down on content Marvel has:
Secret Invasion, Loki S2, What If S2, Ironheart, Echo, Agatha: Coven of Chaos, Daredevil: Born Again, Wonderman, Vision Quest, A Wakanda show, a Nova show(?), and a bunch more animated shows and special presentations supposedly coming to Disney+ in the in the next few years (although it's almost been half a year since She-Hulk ended and SI still doesn't have a release date so I'm assuming most of these are a long way away).
So the question is where are they going to fit a second season to anything into this?
I know some of these are going to be miniseries but if they all end up being miniseries then what's the point?
So much of the magic of television is watching characters grow and change for better or for worse over the years, and every few years the show comes back to either top itself or ruin itself or somewhere in the middle. Many would argue that AoS went on for too long but seeing how the characters and the show itself have changed from season 1 through 7 is what makes it satifying.
Not to say any show needs 7 seasons, but having 2,3 or 4 of some of the shows would be nice. Something to come back to, something to get attached to for longer than 6 weeks. Isn't playing the long game supposed to be Marvels strong suit anyway?
With so much lined up and so much of it seeming like it's not getting past season 1, I feel like it's just hard to be invested in most of it- the overall underwhelming quality so far not helping.
I'd much much rather fewer, well thought out shows with interesting characters that go on for multiple seasons than loads of miniseries that don't really go anywhere and you forget about after a week.
