What is your ultimate takeaway on Stephen Strange's character in the MCU?

Mine is that Stephen is a carefully crafted, expertly portrayed three-dimensional fictional human being, that, with several minor writing hiccups, has been developed exceptionally well from his base presentation in the first scene of Marvel Studios' Doctor Strange (2016).

Yes, he does have two similar characters arcs in his standalone features. And no, these are not the same arcs in the end. No, I do not think NWH hurt his character in the slightest. Yes, I think he was actually built upon and utilized optimally there.
