i feel like Peter Parker being the eldest experienced hero of the next generations of the younger heroes was a huge potential lost

Marvel Studios missed the mark of making MCU Spider-Man the Steve Rogers-esque of being a senior veteran hero of the coming of age heroes in MCU, going from being the youngest hero of the original Avengers to being the eldest experienced hero to the young avengers (and a possible mentor figure to them) would be a amazing evolution to Tom's Spider-Man and it's unfortunate Marvel Studios/Kevin Feige didn't explore that theme if the they didn't clinch in Peter being in highschool for so long.
