What do the costumes in the Holiday Special mean?

I just watched the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, and noticed that the people at Hollywood were wearing Marvel costumes while Drax and Mantis were walking around.

Why are they wearing costumes AT HOLLYWOOD if the characters actually exist in the universe?

Why is this so hard

Does anyone have a list or know a website of every released MCU or MCU related product in release order. It's surprisingly hard to find. Everything I search has "recommened watch order" or chronological watch order or it's just the movies or doesn't include things like agents of shield and the netflix shows. It's not listed in the FAQ for this subreddit. That has everything broken down by platform. I'm just looking for a single list with everything by release date.
