Was Star-Lord ever interested in finding his mother's side of the family?

Obviously we know Yondue took him because of Ego, but I was always curious, did Peter ever want to see his other family members. We know he had grandparents and an uncle. I felt like that's where the Christmas special was initally going.

Bitter thoughts after Loki ending

Alright so I just finished Loki and I just…ugh idk. Yall im so sad I get that he gets his throne and he helps everyone. But I just wanted him to have friends and be happy. I know it’s unrealistic but I just wanted him to have friends and be happy. The first 2 avengers movies feel pretty different compared to a lot of the mcu

I was rewatching avengers 2012 and realized how different it feels to the rest of the mcu. It feels more comic booky and a little campy somehow? That's kind of what I really like about it though and really just find it interesting. Avengers age of ultron also has this more comic booky vibe to it. Any thoughts on this?
