None-Sane Avenger's Loki

Do you think that Loki was honestly in his sane mind in Avengers? Because I don't. And before you non Loki lovers go saying things hear me out because what I am about to prove to you may just blow your minds. And perhaps prompt you to think about Loki in a different way. Now with that in mind let's get started.

Do you recall the Loki who appeared at the start of the movie? The one whoses eyes had clear dark circles around him, whose hair was a messy, and whose face reflected tiriedness. Now that you have a clear picture of him in your mind. Let me ask you does that look reflect someone who is clear minded with a desire to rule? To me it doesn't especially in regards to Loki. For if Loki was desiring to rule he wouldn't look like he hadn't slept. Instead he would be wearing a clear confident look much like he wore in every other film. Yet at the start instead of wearing such a look he was wearing one more tired rather then a ruler look that one would come to expect from someone about to take over. Not to mention do you call remember what happened after he had a conversation with Thanos. One would think if it was all Loki's doing with little input he wouldn't have made that closed eyed look afterwards. Instead he would be smiling as everythink would be going according to his plan.

Now with this in mind let me bring you to Loki in the second half. After he got caught by the avengers. During his stay in Avenger's tower he was spotting that much more confident look that he always wore. The exchausten no longer being their as his look now mirrors what one would expect from him. Again this prompts you to think if this really was his plan why wouldn't he had this look at the start? Why only get it now? Sure he had a backup plan, but that doesn't explain why he had a melted look on his face? Again showing further that perhaps Loki wasn't of soundmind.

But onto my final point as I remind you of Loki and Thor's final fight in the movie. In it Thor points out the chaoes that has become New York. During this rather then wear a satisfied smirk that one would expect of Loki instead a look of regret flashes on his face. One would think for someone who has been planning to takeover that he would be happy at the chaos happening. As he would be willing to do whatever it takes to ensure that. Yet instead of wearing that Loki doesn't wear that. Only saying "It's to late. It's too late to stop it." Then stabbing Thor in the stomach. As Thor falls for a moment yet another look of regret flashes on Loki's face. "Sentiment," he let out before smiling. Now why would Loki have that look of regret? If he was truly trying to takeover why would he have a regret before stabbing Thor? After all Thor is in his way for world domation so why would Loki regret anything? Not to mention if Loki planned of this why would he allow himself to be beaten by the Avengers twice? If you recall in the first movie Loki was able to obtain Odin's throne and keep it without Thor knowing for a good while. Not to mention kill his own father with easy. Something that he could've easily done with the range of his powers. So why do what he did and only maninpute instead of making use of his power of transforming? A power that could ensure that the Avengers would be taken down? Yet instead Loki relied on a staff when from Thor we have seen he can easily get the throne without use of extra power.

In conclusion this may prompt you to think maybe this wasn't all Loki's doing, perhaps other forces were in play. As through out this paper or rant I have shown time and time again some of Loki's actions. All comparing to what someone in his place would be. Yet rather then having all of this in fleeting moments Loki actions are ones that are less power hungry and more regret. Almost as if he doesn't want to do this and someone was forcing him. So what do you think? Do you think I am right or not? Feel free to debate in the comments down below.
