How many beings did Thanos actually kill?

Since Thanos killed half of all living beings in the whole universe and the universe is infinite wouldn’t he have killed an infinite number of beings since there is an infinite number of planets so there is presumably an infinite number of beings. In the movies Bruce Banner says that Thanos killed trillions but that really doesn’t seem like that much when you look at the sheer size of the universe because it is infinite.

Alright so I just finished Loki and I just…ugh idk. Yall im so sad I get that he gets his throne and he helps everyone. But I just wanted him to have friends and be happy.
