She Hulk is a terrible show and I'm really sad about it.

Every character is simply empty. They are just one dimensional in every way, male or female. So nothing feels more than a joke.

There's no room for improving. Comedy is not an excuse for not developing situations. Several comedy shows have personal drama as means for joking and showing motivations. In this show, motivations are said out loud by characters, even during a fight.

The show has no plot. Good lawyer shows have a debate about something legal being really discussed, She Hulk doesn't even attempt to make a conversation. After the episode, there's nothing to talk about, no side to be on, no content there's worth expanding.

I know not every show needs to be deep. But this is no excuse for simple shallowness.

I wish I liked the show. And, to be clear, the problem is not feminism, there are a lot of feminist shows there are incredible (like The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel or Crazy Ex-Girlfriend). But She Hulk simply lacks substance. And the comic character deserves better.
