Why did everyone want John Krasinski to play Reed Richards?

I only heard about the fan campaigns etc after Dr Strange 2 came out, but I didn't really understand the enthusiasm. Is he a big fan of FF or something? He doesn't look much like Reed from the comics, and his performance in Dr Strange 2 didn't sell me (although he didn't have much to work with).

Also he looks like one of Peter Jackson's dwarfs. What's the deal?

Bitter thoughts after Loki ending

Alright so I just finished Loki and I just…ugh idk. Yall im so sad I get that he gets his throne and he helps everyone. But I just wanted him to have friends and be happy. I know it’s unrealistic but I just wanted him to have friends and be happy. The first 2 avengers movies feel pretty different compared to a lot of the mcu

I was rewatching avengers 2012 and realized how different it feels to the rest of the mcu. It feels more comic booky and a little campy somehow? That's kind of what I really like about it though and really just find it interesting. Avengers age of ultron also has this more comic booky vibe to it. Any thoughts on this?
