[SPOILERS FOR SHE-HULK] My theory as to why She-Hulk doesn't have a second personality
Sorry for spoilers in the title, couldn't find a better way to phrase it
So when She-Hulk comes out of that little vault thing, Bruce is surprised to learn that she doesn't have another person in her head. She's just her, but stronger. And I think a lot of people are under the impression that this just means she's simply better than Bruce, and, to be fair, they do make a point that she's better at controlling her anger, and Bruce merged his personalities by learning to do just that.
But I think there's a different reason why there are two personalities for Banner, and one for Jen.
I'm sure most people in this sub know Bruce in the comics has DID. This has never really been touched on in the MCU, but I think he definitely does here, too. Here's what I think happened.
As a child, Bruce was abused by his father. To cope with this, he developed a second personality full of anger and hatred, kind of like what we saw in Moon Knight. Bruce however never wanted to acknowledge this darker side of himself. He suppressed it and ignored it, pretended it wasn't there. But it was always there.
Then, he gets exposed to gamma radiation and the Hulk appears. Bruce thinks that a second personality is a side effect of being a Hulk, which is why he's so shocked to find that Jen didn't get that. But the truth is it's not a side effect of being a Hulk - that angry person was always there, deep inside Bruce's mind, locked away, and he never acknowledged that it was there. So when he was irradiated, that angry personality was given a physical form, and Bruce just thought that that was the moment that personality was born. But it wasn't. It always existed.
Tl;Dr: Bruce always had a second personality but ignored it; when he was exposed to gamma radiation, it was given a physical form and he believed it was born at that moment - but it wasn't, he always had it. Jen never had a second personality, so she didn't "get" one.
