What would you think if Marvel devoted half of its upcoming film slate to develop another universe?

Hear me out

X-Men and fantastic four and defenders all sharing a universe separate from the 616 MCU as we know it.

If this saga is centered around the Multiverse, and we are heading to a big Incursion, one Earth vs. another, what better reason to pit the Avengers vs. the X Men?

Just like Civil War gave us two teams that fans had a history with and could root for, so would a Phase or two of films in this separate universe make the conflict between the two realities more personal, more visceral.

Edit:. And of course the conflict would resolve with merging the two universes together sorry I left that out

Also just a heads up. I was careful not to spoil any films or d+ shows in this post, but I imagine there may be comments discussing spoilers for recent Disney content.

Alright so I just finished Loki and I just…ugh idk. Yall im so sad I get that he gets his throne and he helps everyone. But I just wanted him to have friends and be happy. I know it’s unrealistic but I just wanted him to have friends and be happy.
