Timelines vs. Multiverses

Tony Stark's space time GPS does not travel back in time within the same timeline but to a different timeline. Isn't that essentially a parallel universe aka Multiverse? Can someone explain the in-MCU logic to me please? Because if I remember my undergrad physics correctly, they are one and the same.

Speaking of multiverses, I can't help but wonder whether we will see any with significantly different laws of physics appearing in MCU.

Also, the name MCU itself may need to be changed now. Since it's not Marvel Cinematic Universe but Marvel Cinematic MULTI-verse.

Bitter thoughts after Loki ending

Alright so I just finished Loki and I just…ugh idk. Yall im so sad I get that he gets his throne and he helps everyone. But I just wanted him to have friends and be happy. I know it’s unrealistic but I just wanted him to have friends and be happy.
