What crime is Doctor Strange answering for?

In the new trailer, we see him being taken prisoner by what is presumably the Illuminati who seek to punish him for something he did to tamper with the multiverse. Mordo even explicitly says so in the trailer as well.

So my question is: do you think this is in reference to the events of Spider-Man: NWH and his aid of Peter Parker? Or is it the events of Endgame, where the universe was saved only by the Avengers travelling through and stealing powerful artifacts from multiple universes, essentially being encouraged to do so by Strange as part of his 1 : 1,000,605 plan? Maybe some other multiversal transgression entirely?

I know this is essentially speculation until the film comes out… but what do you all think?

Alright so I just finished Loki and I just…ugh idk. Yall im so sad I get that he gets his throne and he helps everyone. But I just wanted him to have friends and be happy. I know it’s unrealistic but I just wanted him to have friends and be happy.
